2 Flexcon M-K, the powerful compressor expan Flexcon M-K automats consist of a steel vessel with exchangeable diaphragm made of butyl rubber and a control unit with compressor. They are used for storing expansion volume in closed heating, cooling and air-conditioning installations. A Flexvent Super air vent is an optional extra. Quick-release couplings for auxiliary vessels. Pressure-pipe connections for maintaining pressure and pressure sensor. The Flexcon M-K compressor expansion automats store the expansion water in the installation. They also keep the set system pressure at a balanced level within close limits. Water and compressed air are separated from each other by an exchangeable diaphragm made of high-quality butyl rubber. Control panel. Steel vessel. Capacity sensor cable. 3 sion automat The microprocessor-controlled control unit of the Flexcon M-K expansion automat has a number of easily programmable working variables. Typical to the Flexcon M-K are the reliability and strength. With the range of sizes and optional extras, the automats can be used in very different installations. The automats are fitted with low-noise, oil-free compressors which require no special maintenance. FLEXCON M-K/U Pressure-maintaining connection assembly (pressure-relief valve, discharge valve, nonreturn valve). The SDS control unit s display, also used on the Flexcon M-K/U, allows the user to see clearly what the pre-set parameters are, what the automat is doing and what the current filling level and system pressure are. Thanks to its elegant design, we have made it possible to incorporate lots of important functions into one compact unit. Flexvent Super air vent with air inlet preventer. Pressureless steel vessel. Flexible hoses (essential). The Flamcomat is suitable for both medium-sized and large heating installations, for both cooling and air-conditioning installations. The Flamcomat ensures that the system pressure remains balanced within close limits and that the system is topped-up automatically should there be any leakage. The venting process is at the same time dynamic and energy-efficient. User-friendly control panel. High-quality pump set. Top-up connection (225D-SDS). 5 today The Flamcomat consists of a pre-configured pump unit and a pressureless master vessel. This pressure-expansion system can be enhanced with accessories from our extensive range. In this way, you can tailor the equipment precisely to the needs of your installation. Atmospheric connection for pressure compensation in the space between the interior wall of the vessel and the exterior wall of the diaphragm. Exchangeable diaphragm made of high-quality butyl rubber. FLAMCOMAT By using integrated PALL-rings, you can separate air from the installation continuously and completely. The turbovent function significantly increases the de-aeration ability over a short time. Oxygenated water from the installation. De-aerated water fed back into the installation. The Flamcomat is a multi-ability expansion automat with excellent technical performance. The Flamcomat s de-aeration capacity does not depend on the circulation speed or pressure within the system. When fitting an installation with significant differences between summer and winter operation, we recommend use of a doublepump (load-dependent) Flamcomat pump automat. 6 ENA: the modern vacuum de-aeration and pres The Flamco ENA vacuum de-aeration and pressurisation unit can be used in both closed central-heating installations and in closed cooling and air-conditioning installations. The ENA is used in combination with a Flexcon diaphragm expansion vessel or a Flexcon M-K expansion automat. The ENA s maximum working temperature is 70 C. The ENA is available in three pressure options and is easy to set up. Flexvent air vent with air intake preventer. Control panel. Vacuum tank made of stainless steel. Connection from system: 3 /4. The Flamco ENA allows you to choose between turbo-vent (quick and effective, with short pauses between the vent cycles) and normal venting (an energy-efficient method). Via a volt free error function log, reports can be transferred to a building-management system (BMS). The ENA is self-monitoring due to its logic control which verifies the sensor values. Like me, all my colleagues are convinced that a Flamco installation is always the best installation. Years of experience have proved this. 2.6

8 Flexcon digital sealed system pressurisation units A series of compact fl oor and wall mounted pressurisation units utilising the latest microprocessor control. For use on sealed heating and cooling systems, offering accurate control and excellent reliability. Easy system diagnostics with detailed messages scrolled across the controller screen. FLEXCON MINI WALL MOUNTED PRESSURISATION UNIT Available in single or dual pump versions with active pump monitoring and auto changeover on the dual pump models. Other features include an internal alarm with mute function, high/low pressure alarms with adjustable setpoint (auto reset) as well as a pump run limiter with alarm (manual reset flood protection). The Flexcon pressurisation units are also equipped with a low water detection to protect the pump(s), main pressure setpoint with adjustable differential and common fault volt free contact. The controller is protected by a security password. There are volt free / powered outputs for individual pump health, high pressure, low pressure and sensor health. 10 A 300 Simple and quick installation with the Flexcon Feedboy The Flexcon Feedboy function server is suitable for medium and large heating systems and can be used in both existing and new installations. The LCD display on the control panel continuously shows a complete selfdiagnosis of the Flexcon Feedboy itself. FLEXCON M-K/S FLEXCON FEEDBOY All models of the Flexcon Feedboy are supplied as integral units. The Flexcon Feedboy is manufactured from durable materials and components; the control technology used is both user-friendly in the extreme and singularly reliable. The pressure in the installation can be set to any desired level within the range. A number of important functions are united in the Flexcon Feedboy: storage of expansion water, installation-pressure monitoring, venting and topping-up of water. 12 Flexcon M-K compressor expansion automats The Flexcon M-K version with SDS control unit is called Flexcon M-K/U. All Flexcon M-K automats consist of a steel master vessel, an exchangeable diaphragm made of butyl rubber, a control unit with control panel, height-adjustable feet and an oil-free compressor. All Flexcon M-K expansion automats are supplied complete and ready for connection. The Flexcon M-K auxiliary vessel does not have a control unit or compressor. If an auxiliary vessel is to be connected, it must be equivalent to the master vessel. Air-side connections between the master vessel and the auxiliary vessel must be made with a high-pressure hose. Quick-release couplings are available. Water-side connections must be made in situ.
