Pisoni), Colleges of the Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Research Scholarship (OSU) $3, RESEARCH INTERESTS My research involves investigating the extent to which listeners benefit from visual speech cues, or being able to see a talker s face in different listening conditions. I have used parallel interactive models with cross-modal interactions to model multisensory integration. In my current research, I am developing and applying measures of capacity along with ERPs to assess efficient information processing, integration, and brain functioning. Some of my other research projects include obtaining normative measures of audio-visual integration ability in NH and aging populations, and obtaining assessments of language perception skills in HI listeners using sentence processing, reaction-time, and measurements of lip-reading skills.
