9 Activity Descriptions All scheduled activities require reservations. Please contact Concierge at Children under the age of 12 must be supervised for all activities. Outdoor activities are trail and weather permitting. All prices are subject to applicable taxes. A 24 hour, full charge cancellation policy applies to all paid activities. An Intro to Geocaching The Rosseau is fortunate to have 3 registered geocaches close to or on resort property. If you haven t tried this newly popular world-wide phenomenon, now is the time! Join a member of our recreation team for a tutorial and guided cache hunt. Registration required. Please bring your smartphone. An Intro to Juicing Sign up required by Sunday at 4pm. $40 per person. Have you ever wondered about juicing? Let the experts at Totem Juice Co. nourish your body and mind with this tasty and informative 90 minute workshop all about different ingredients, methods of juicing and the proven benefits. Space is limited, registration required. Minimum number of 6 guests required for this workshop. Arts & Crafts: Birdhouse Decorating. $25 per birdhouse Get ready to decorate your very own birdhouse! Aquafit Aquafit is a great way to enjoy light to moderate physical activity in the warmth of our indoor/ outdoor pool. Intended for guests over the age of 14. Registration required. Bike the Backroads Open to guests aged 14 and older Weather dependant A casual and fun guided tour along the beautiful back roads of Muskoka. Limited space available. Registration required. Bingo! Chocolate Making Workshop Meet At: The Concierge Desk. $30 per person In this interactive workshop dedicated to treating yourself, our Pastry Chef will demonstrate how to prepare unique desserts that you can showcase at your next dinner party. Date Night. $40 per child Allow us to host your children for the evening while you and your partner enjoy a meal at one of our intimate restaurants or relax at the spa. Your kids will be treated to one of our chef s pizzas followed by crafts, games, and a movie; all safely supervised by our Recreation team. Space is limited and registration is required. Intro to Canoeing Join a member of the Recreation team for a relaxing paddle. This program emphasizes learning about boat control so paddlers will gain the skills needed for a fun and safe canoe trip. Registration required. Parent supervision required. Intended for ages 12 and up. Intro to Kayaking One of the best things to do in Muskoka during the summertime is hop in a kayak and explore the unique beauty of the area. After this introductory class, you will feel more confident in a kayak. Registration required, Parent supervision required. Intended for ages 12 and up. Lake Rosseau Jet Ski Tour $160 per vessel (up to 2 passengers) Zoom from sight to sight in this exhilarating whirlwind tour of Lake Rosseau s hotspots. Please make reservations with SOAR at the Waterfront Cabana. $25 per person, $15 ages 12 and under Take in the spectacular views as you cruise among Lake Rosseau s islands and inlets. Family Fun Fishing Derby $15 per person, $10 ages 12 and under Enjoy the challenge of catching and releasing one of Muskoka s many fish species in search of the big one! Includes all equipment needed. Please make reservations with SOAR. Morning Power Walk. There s nothing more reenergizing than fresh air and a quick walk in the morning. Join a member of our recreation team or speak with the Concierge team about routes to walk on your own. Registration required. Note: please bring change if you would like to purchase a coffee on the way back from this great walk. Movie Night View a family friendly movie, theater-style. Registration required. Pajama Party Meet At: The Paignton House Toddler s Play Room Put on your cutest PJ s and join us for stories with milk and cookies by the fireplace. The perfect way to wind down after a long exciting day. Intended for guests under the age of 12. Parent & Tot Swimming Intended for Parents/Guardians and children aged 1-3. Join our lifeguard during this structured in-water swim encouraging family fun. Parents and/or Guardians must remain in the pool and within arm s reach at all times. Parent & Tot Yoga Intended for tots ages 2-5. Introduce your tot to the joys of yoga while participating together in this program that incorporates the mind, body and spirit. Your tot will wag their tail in downward facing dog, roar like a lion and grow strong like a warrior. Space is limited. Registration required.

Sawdust City Brewery Tour & Tasting Meet At: The Concierge Desk $25 per person Located in Gravenhurst, Sawdust City Brewing Company is dedicated to the art and science of creating exceptional craft beers. Join their team as they guide you on a tour of their 20,000 sq. ft. facility followed by a tasting of their delicious brews. Must be 19 years of age or older with valid government ID. Transportation provided. Sign ups required by 11am. Minimum 8 people required. The Little Naturalist Intended for children aged 3-6 This leisurely trek is perfect for the family with young tots. A checklist with animal tracks, bugs and critters is supplied. Set off and explore the 5 Bridges. Parent supervision required. Registration required. The Rosseau Art Tour Have you been admiring the art at The Rosseau? Take this tour with a Muskoka Chautauqua artist who will guide you through The Rosseau s varying art displays with collections from artists near and far. Registration required. The Rosseau Kids Club. $40 per child Join us for a morning filled with fun and excitement! Our team of recreation specialists will lead your child through a variety of outdoor education games, adventures, and crafts. We will spend the morning exploring everything The Rosseau has to offer while you take a little time for yourself. Space is limited and registration is required. Open to children aged 4 to 12. Cannot guarantee allergy free, gluten free or kosher. Trivia Night Bring your thinking caps and useless trivia knowledge to compete against other teams in fun, challenging rounds of trivia! Categories will include pop culture, local area knowledge, movies, music, sports and history. Watercolour Journaling $30 per person These days almost everyone has some form of online journal or blog. The written word, whether online or on paper, continues to be one of the best forms of therapy, expression and creativity. A Muskoka Chautauqua artist will teach guests in this laid back class, the basics of sketching, journaling and watercolour painting, combining the written word with the richness of hand drawn illustrations. Registration required Water Volleyball Grab your friends and throw on your suit, it s time the classic game of volleyball is moved from the court and into the pool. The more the merrier for this entertaining, family friendly game. Registration required. Wilderness Survival. $25 per person. Cost includes flint and steel to take home. Weather dependent. Learn tips and tricks on surviving in the great outdoors! Fire building, shelters, edible wilds and more will be covered during this fun, educational program. Registration required. Parent supervision required. Wild About Wetlands With dip nets in hand, join the Recreation team as you ll head to the wetlands to learn about aquatic insects, reptiles, and amphibians. Through postures, meditation and breathing exercises, you will learn to bring yourself to a peaceful frame of mind. Improved strength and flexibility are the physical benefits of practicing yoga. Zumba. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high energy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, you re getting fit and your energy level is soaring! There s no other fitness class like a Zumba fitness class. If you haven t tried this class yet, now s the time. Registration required.
