3 First Circular Conference Family and school in local environment ( November 2016) Ladies and Gentlemen, We are honoured to invite you to the international scientific meeting related to the mainstream of considerations undertaken in previous years at cyclic conferences, especially we refer to the issues of last-year conference titled School-culture local environment. We suggest the discourse concerned on the local life environment, which plays fundamental role in socialization and education: it orients in the world of matter and in the world of ideas; it connects with culture; is a source of identity for individuals, social groups, it facilitates answers to the fundamental questions: who are we, where do we come from and where are we heading? We are interested in presenting examples of fruitful cooperation of researchers and practitioners from various countries concerned with various realities and in constructive focusing attention on the problem of upbringing in a family, at school and in local environment. Our intention is to consider the following questions: What are successes and problems of a family? What are chances and risks of upbringing at school? What are the relationships between family environment, school environment and local environment? Does family and school environment contribute to creating local community and if so, what is its influence? On the basis of the analysis of real facts and phenomena we would like to describe social and educational school actions in local environment and to express new forms school activity corresponding to current forms of local communities which emerge as a result of intensive socio-cultural changes. Specifically, we suggest the discussion around the following issues theories, concepts, studies and views concerning family and school as upbringing environments values and transmission of cultural heritage in family and at school participation of family and school in creating local community pedagogical culture of parents and teachers experience of institutions and organizations supporting family and school in fulfilling their functions. Inviting you to interdisciplinary discussion we hope to search and discover together new cognitive and research areas as well as new practical solutions. 5 Organizational issues Publication With regard to our intention to publish conference materials we kindly request participants to prepare an article not exceeding 0,5 of publishing sheet, i.e characters (editorial requirements are included in the Information for the Authors provided). The text should be sent until 30 June 2015 via to the addresses of the conference secretaries: and with the annotation - Conference: family school - Cieszyn. We would like also to inform that the text will be accepted for publication on condition of the positive reviewers` opinion. Positively reviewed texts will be published in the collection of articles or in an indexed journal. Participation conditions and conference fee The condition of attendance is sending registration form and payment of a conference fee. The registration form should be sent by not later than 15 June 2016 The conference fee (including text publication in the collected articles or indexed journal after receiving positive review) together with social package is 250 PLN. The participation fee equal to 450 PLN (for the members of Polish Pedagogical Association 420 PLN) should be transferred until 15 June 2016 to the account Alior Bank SA Stowarzyszenie Wspierania Edukacji Międzykulturowej ul. 6 Information for the Authors International Scientific Conference A person at risk of social and educational exclusion, April 2016 We accept original materials in electronic form (.doc or.rtf files) and in printed format. Submitted materials shall not be returned and we reserve the right to make formal changes and to reduce the text when necessary. Language Polish, English Text length: 1/2 of publishing sheet (no more than 20 thousand characters) Text editor: Word for Windows Main text: Times New Roman, 12 point font, spacing 1,5. Footnotes: 10 point font, single spacing at the bottom of each page Indenting of the paragraph 1 cm. Margins 2,5 cm The text should be divided into numbered parts with titles. Please, separate Introduction and Conclusions sections. Parts of the text should be numbered in the following way: etc. Full stop is the last character of the sentence, a quotation mark or a footnote reference should be placed before a full stop, for example: [ ] and students 12.. The titles of books, articles or other works in the main text and in the titles of text parts or chapters should not be written in quotation marks but in italics. Please, do not write whole phrases in capital letters and do not use underlining. Bold and italic fonts can be used. Attach to the text: Bibliography in alphabetical order. Short summary (no more than half a page) in English, the author of the translation should be given. A short Note about the Author. Author should provide illustrative material in the form of graphic files in black and white or in gray scale. Footnotes 1.
