1 Kendriya Vidyalaya Social Science Exhibition-cum-National Integration Camp Dear Parents and students, Organizing Social Science Exhibition cum-national Integration Camp is a permanent feature of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan every year. It is conducted at School Level, Cluster Level, Regional Level and National Level. Social Science Exhibition cum-national Integration Camp has paramount importance as it focuses the comprehensive learning of the students by engaging, exploring & empowering with knowledge. The event is a hub of different activities for the students of Secondary Section mainly. 1. Exhibition on the allotted topics related to a particular STATE of India and A COUNTRY of the world 2. Group Dance 3. Group Song 4. Project 5. Debate 6. Quiz 7. Elocution 8. Skit

2 The students under the mentorship of the teachers will explore the facts and features of the following State/Country assigned to Raipur Region for : 1. State Andhra Pradesh 2. Country Sri Lanka The event comprises the following segments 1. Making exhibits model, charts, album etc on the above State and the Country Conduct the exhibition of the prepared exhibits at the school level. After being selected, the students will move up to the participation at Cluster Level, Regional level & National Levels 2. Group Dance- from the allotted State/Country i.e. Andhra Pradesh/Shri Lanka Rules & Instructions Maximum number of students for performing the dance 6-8 Background music and on instruments including music teacher 06 Duration of the dance performance 6 min. including the announcement Costume should be relevant to the theme of the state /country No outsider is allowed

3 Evaluation Criterion Costume - 25 Co-ordination 25 Harmony with music - 25 Background Music / Song 25 Announcement duration not more than 15 seconds 3. Group Song Rules & Instructions Maximum number of students participating in group song 6-8 No. of students on instruments including music teacher 04 Duration of the song performance 4-5 min. including the announcement Theme patriotism, National Integration, Social cohesion, Youth/women empowerment or the folklore of the state/country allotted Language Hindi or the language of the state/country allotted Costume should be relevant to the theme of the state /country No outsider is allowed Costume - 20 Theme 20 Harmony - 20 Melody 20 Background - 20 Evaluation Criterion Announcement duration not more than 15 seconds

4 PROJECT Topics for the Project participation are: Make in India Cyber Protection Women Empowerment Digital India-Progressive India म क इन इ 'डय स इबर स र/ न र0 सश23करण 'ड5जटल भ रत-;ग तश ल भ रत Following steps are to be taken for writing the report of Project Data- Collection or survey Analysis of Data Qualitative and Quantitative Reporting (Writing) Conclusions/Predictions Acknowledgement Bibliography Mention all references A certificate in the beginning claiming that the work is original signed by the students, teacher guide and Principal Project should include Group of 2-5 students pages containing photographs, illustrations, drawing, graphs etc. Main focus on primary data. CAUTION: NO CUT & PASTE WORK FROM INTERNET MATERIALS, TEXT BOOKS AND PRINT OUTS FROM WEBSITES.

Topics for Quiz in English: Life and Contribution of Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Life and Contribution of Bharat Ratna Dr. B R Ambedkar Quiz will be conducted in English only. There will be two rounds at National level Preliminary Round - Written Round with five students max from a particular region Final Round Oral round with two students of the top four scorer regions. It will be verbal and audio visual rounds
