2 AquaBeba is an age-based program. We combine children similar in age to optimize social connections and to motivate more advanced swim techniques. We make sure to work with each child to ensure that they are confident and comfortable at their own individual level. The AquaBeba Swim program is designed with one thing in mind, to share and introduce the beautiful world of swimming from infancy into adulthood.

3 Owner and Instructor Danilo Krvavac with two new swimmers about us AquaBeba s fully trained instructors teach kids from infants to toddlers to young children the fundamentals of swimming in a safe and comfortable water environment. Our unique program allows babies and parents to feel confident and secure in the watery world around them. The AquaBeba Swim program is designed with one thing in mind, to share and introduce the beautiful world of swimming from infancy into adulthood. This individualized program works with each child s unique ability and pace. Through fun and games AquaBeba teaches children to relax in the water while building respect and awareness of it. It helps integrating a baby s physical, social and emotional needs into a swimming lesson. Pre-Condition baby for submersion, by teaching them to respond (hold their breath) to verbal triggers Teaches baby to swim without the assistance of flotation devices Encourages baby to be independent in and around water at the earliest possible age Teaches baby safety skills that may one day save their life Owner Danilo Krvavac qualified for the 2000 Olympic swim team representing his homeland, Serbia. He was a numerous time Serbian record holder in 50m, 100m and 200m back stroke. He was also chosen as the 1995 Best Serbian Youth Athlete. One of his records was just broken after 14 years. Danilo s passion for teaching swimming to babies and children began while teaching children in Europe. After the birth of his daughter Penelope, Danilo decided to open his own program in Williamsburg Brooklyn where he resides with his wife, daughter and son.

In some cases there will be more then one private lesson going on in the pool at the same time. ˆ5 week package it is consecutive weeks. If you wish to cancel a lesson we require 24-hour notice or the full amount of the class will be charged. There is one lesson cancellation per five week session allowed. Any further cancellations will result in loss of class payment. prenatal lessons PRENATAL LESSON $35 per class $30 with 3 or more lessons Prenatal lessons last 45 minutes with 15 minutes of free float time at the end. They cater to the needs of pregnant women. Everyone is free to work at their own pace during this gentle but effective work out. Lessons average four-six women ranging from 12 to 40 weeks. The benefits from water aerobics include better sleep, increased energy and endurance, relief from back pain and sciatica, more flexibility and easier movement. The Benefits of Water Exercise Swimming is possibly the best form of exercise you can take during pregnancy. Even a gentle swim provides you with a great cardio vascular workout that boosts your circulation and aids the transportation of oxygen and nutrients around your body. This helps you to feel energized and also reduces water retention and swelling. Swimming also works every major muscle group in your body so taking a regular trip to the pool will facilitate the development of muscle tone. This will help you to adapt to your changing shape and recuperate post pregnancy. Swimming also begins to build endurance and endorphin responses that will make you better equipped to tolerate pain during labor. Swimming also provides you with the opportunity to relax - gently swimming up and down a pool can be very therapeutic while simply floating in the pool with the water supporting your body can help relax both your mind and your muscles. Why is This Good for Pregnancy? Water exercise forces you to strengthen your core muscles - especially the abdominals and lower back - almost without trying. That s because you must contract and use these muscles in order to stabilize yourself as you move in a pool. Cancellation Policies: There is a $50 cancellation fee if the session is canceled within 24 hours of the first day of the session. Date is indicated on schedules. Once the session begins all payments are non-refundable or transferable. Absence Policies: There is one make up lesson per session. It is scheduled on the week directly following the session end date. It is at your regular lesson time. If you do not miss a lesson you are welcome to attend this lesson as well. There is no other make up option. All lessons and sessions are non-refundable or transferrable to other sessions. Diaper Policy: Two swim diapers are required to be worn one on top of the other. Reusable swim diapers are preferred. All swim diapers should fit snug around stomach and thighs. Regular diapers are not permitted in the water. For scheduling and/or enrollment, please aquabebaswim@aquabeba.com

7 frequently asked questions How do I enroll in a group lesson? To sign up for a lesson, please the registration form and payment authorization to aquabebaswim@aquabeba.com, fax it to , or mail it to 146 Frost Street, Apt. 3, Brooklyn, NY For all other questions or to inquire about private lessons, please call You will receive a confirmation once Aquabeba has received the forms and payment and you are enrolled. In the event that the lesson is full, we will contact you about being placed on the waiting list or registering for the following session. What is your cancellation policy? Registration fees and program costs are non-refundable and nontransferable after the session start date. There is a $50 cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours of the session start date. Please plan accordingly. What do I bring? Please bring a towel for you and your child and swim diapers, if your child is still in diapers. The pool location has limited changing areas, so we ask that all adults come ready to swim. This will help us to get lessons started on time, as you will not be waiting for all the people from the previous lesson to change out of their wet swimsuits before you can get into the changing area. Please try to follow this suggestion. Parents REQUIRED: Adult swim suit & towel OPTIONAL: Goggles Fully Potty Trained Children REQUIRED: Swim suit & towel OPTIONAL: Goggles Non-Fully Potty Trained or Recently Potty Trained Children REQUIRED: Towel / Must wear TWO swim diapers in the pool (swim suits are not required for infants with two swim diapers) An infant can wear any of these options (see below for examples): TWO reusable SWIM diapers (Honest Diapers, Imse Swim Diapers) TWO disposable SWIM diapers (Huggies Little Swimmers) ONE disposable SWIM diaper with ONE reusable SWIM diaper Please make sure that all swim diapers fit snug around the thighs and waist. All parents are required to supply their own swim diapers, no child will be permitted to attend in a regular diaper or regular disposable. IMPORTANT: Regular disposable diapers are NOT the same as disposable SWIM diapers. These expand under water and can be very hazardous if they burst. Due to recent issues with KUSHIES DIAPERS, we will require a disposable swim diaper under it. They tend to be very loose and do not fit properly. Do I need to accompany my child? Yes, lessons are held with the support of parents. It is important to have the parent there to comfort the child, reinforce the trust and enhance the bond. We also like to give parents tips so that they can continue to help their child develop comfortably in the water. Where are lessons held? All lessons are located at Olive Park Condominium, 100 Maspeth Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Olive Park offers a 25 ft pool, water temperature 88 degrees Fahrenheit. The L train to Graham Avenue is the closest stop. Do you have make-up lessons or offer refunds? In order not to disrupt scheduled lessons, we do not offer makeups during other lessons or refund for absences. Instead, we offer complimentary make-up lessons that are at designated times listed on the schedule. There is no need to enroll in these lessons. They are held at your regular lesson time on the final week. If you do not miss a lesson you can take it as a bonus lesson. This is the only make up option. How do I enroll for private or semi-private lessons? Please us at aquabebaswim@aquabeba.com. We have limited times for private lessons. A one time lesson is $85, a package of 5 lessons is $400. If a package is purchased they are 5 consecutive weeks. A semi-private lesson is $120 for two children and $60 each additional child. We do not form these groups, they are formed by the people attending. There are no make ups if someone misses a lesson and the others attend. There is a one time cancellation or postponement per session. All cancellations must be made prior to 24 hours and ed in. If not the full cost of the lesson will be charged. How do I cancel a semi-private or private lesson? We understand that kids get sick. For private lessons, however, we need 24 hour notice for cancellation, otherwise your lessons will go on as planned and cannot be rescheduled. What is the complimentary make up lesson and how do I attend? When you enroll in the program you are automatically enrolled in the make up lesson. It is scheduled on the week after the session ends at your regular lesson time. If you do not miss a lesson you are welcome to attend that lesson as a bonus lesson. These are only available for group lessons. Is this the only make up option? Yes, the scheduled make up lesson is the only make up option. Lessons and payments are non-refundable or transferable. How do hold your enrollments? We have a mailing list. It is usually sent out just after the second week of the current session we are in. Once you received the schedule you have to respond quickly with your lesson selections as we base it on whoever responds first. Some lessons do fill up within the first few minutes. Is there a way to enroll in advance? We enroll everyone at the same time as people are often switching levels. To ensure that the schedule does not go to Spam or Promotions please look out for it after the second week of lessons. Also we announce it on Instagram and Facebook the night before it goes out. How do the levels work? All of our levels are age based. Our program is designed to promote swim development through repetition and continued practice. As your child masters each skill we add more challenging exercises gradually. We find that children work best with similar aged children.

8 pool rules ONE ADULT REQUIRED WITH CHILD IN POOL Both parents are welcome at the pool, but for your safety we only allow one parent per child in the pool. You are welcome to switch week to week. Stingrays/Sharks level lessons only require an adult present outside of the pool, not in the water. NO SHOES IN THE POOL AREA. AquaBeba staff members will show you a designated area where you can leave shoes. This is to maintain a clean, hygienic environment. NOTIFY US IF YOU BRING GUESTS. All guests are required to fill out a visitors form prior to entering the pool deck. The pool room is kept very warm so please bring water to drink and wear removable layers. We try to limit visitors so that the pool area does not get crowded. CHILDREN CAN ONLY BE IN THE WATER DURING THEIR OWN SCHEDULED LESSON TIMES. ONLY CHILDREN ENROLLED IN OUR PROGRAM CAN GO INTO THE POOL. ALL SIBLINGS ON THE POOL DECK MUST BE DIRECTLY SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT (CANNOT BE ADULT IN POOL). PLEASE EXIT THE POOL PROMPTLY AT THE END OF YOUR LESSON.
