Commercial Female Offering will include 440+ Breeding Age Females (Open, Bred & Pairs); many will be F-1 Braford and Brangus. Females Will Be OCVs With Current Health Papers. Cattle may be viewed after 5 p.m. Friday, March 9 and between 7-10 a.m. Sale Day. All cattle must be loaded out on Sale Day. The 2012 sale offering consists of 129 top-quality breeding age bulls in a variety of breeds, 30 Registered Brangus females, and 450+ highly sought after replacement females open, bred and pairs. Good quality cattle are hard to come by these days, so come while the gettin s good! The Southeast Texas ICA Commercial Bull & Heifer Sale Committee would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of the folks who have supported our past sales and we look forwarding to seeing you again this year! We would also like to thank our Consignors who continue to send us their quality cattle year in and year out! The sale will start promptly at 10 a.m. on sale day. A Sale Order will be available at 7 a.m. and the animals will be sold in the order listed; bulls will be sold first, heifers last. Note: When bidding on heifers, multiply the bid by the # of head in the lot. There will not be a lengthy break between bulls and heifers; however, lunch will be provided between 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. by the Southeast Texas Ag-Equipment Dealers. TERMS & CONDITIONS BIDDING: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. DISPUTES: The auctioneer will settle any and all disputes as to bids and his decision on such matters shall be final. TERMS: Terms of the Sale are cash (checks accepted with valid driver s license). NO CREDIT CARDS, please. PURCHASER S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the Purchaser at the time of the sale. GUARANTEE: The cattle in this sale are guaranteed by the individual consignors. The Southeast Texas Independent Cattlemen s Association acts as the selling agent only. Any breeding defect on an animal should be registered with the Seller immediately, but within six (6) months of sale. HEALTH: Health Papers will be furnished on each animal. Animals 18 months of age or older are Brucellosis tested within 30 days of the sale unless originating from a Certified Free Herd. All bulls are fertility tested and test negative for Trichomoniasis. All females are Official Calfhood Vaccinates and have been palpated and determined potential, satisfactory breeders. Please check with your AHC to determine what health papers will be required if travelling outside Texas with your purchases. ANNOUNCEMENTS: All announcements from the auction box take precedence over the printed material in this catalog. LIABILITY: Neither the Association, the sale manager, nor any other person connected with the management of this sale assumes any liability, legal or otherwise. DEFECTS: Known defects will be called to public attention at the time the animal enters the ring. SETTLING UP : When you have made your purchases, please settle up with our Office Staff before you leave the fairgrounds. BABY CALVES: Some heifers may calve while they are here. In order to protect the newborn babies, WE WILL NOT BRING SOME OF THEM TO THE RING. Our consignors are asked to assume reasonable responsibility for these calves while here, a limited responsibility after they leave, and any calf born after the time of sale is the full responsibility of the buyer. LOAD-OUT & TRANSPORTATION: Animals must be loaded out on Saturday. Heifers cannot be loaded out until after the sale. We ll gladly help you make transportation arrangements. Independent gooseneck haulers are available. Please see office personnel. RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS: The above terms and conditions of sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal and shall be equally binding on both.
