2 Sponsored by the Common Good Fund THE LORD A B E R PROVOST D E E N TOWN HOUSE ABERDEEN AB10 1LP Welcome to Aberdeen s 50+Directory full of activities and opportunities for the 50+ age group resident in Aberdeen. Sport and leisure play a vital role in every community in boosting health and fitness levels. The activities and opportunities available today can also form the basis of many new friendships. 2 It is important that everyone is afforded the opportunity, regardless of age, which is yet another reason I am proud to be able to support this further development of the 50+ programme. Having browsed through the booklet, I ve found many interesting and exciting ventures on offer and I would urge you all to consider enrolling in one of the many activities and clubs available. It sounds like enormous fun! Lord Provost Peter J Stephen, OStJ, MCIBS
