6 Example: yard management/access control Implementing a more accurate system for bus entry/exit than manual recording Locate buses undergoing servicing Measure Takt times Grupo Ado, one of the largest bus transportation companies in Mexico Using 40 Cisco access points for Wi-Fi infrastructure 11 exciters installed at entry/exit points 500 buses installed with T2 tags Connected with Grupo Ado s in-house inventory management system Bus arrival and departure times are now recorded automatically Takt time in each service centre can be measured and generate an alarm if a scheduled delivery time is at risk On-complex drivers no longer need to use bicycles to locate buses; MobileView directs them to the correct bay area for their bus Grupo Ado operate over 5000 buses out of 13 locations across Mexico Buses undergoing servicing were difficult to find, and delivering buses on time was pressurised with delays causing extensive finger pointing.
