2 The purpose of the project was to create a sustainable lighting design for an office building. The design utilized energy efficient lamp fixtures, dimming photo sensors, and electronic low voltage window shades. 3 The project was to remodel our school s existing gymnasium into a bowling alley. The parti for this design was a creation of a contemporary bowling alley using the familiar curvilinear shapes of the pins and bowling balls. 7 The purpose of the Precedent study board was to practice various computer rendering techniques to create different image effects. The Google Plex Mobile image was a design project of a plane for the owners of Google. The inspiration for this design was to create and portray a fun and comfortable space for use in both serious business and recreational purposes. 9 The parti for the office was two hands working together as one to create new growth. The goal of this design was to create a sustainable, flexible, employee oriented office design. The ACS building was a non-profit company design project and was inspired by the iconic symbols of the various American Cancer Society events. The Riquier Residence was a design competition for an actual couple looking to refurbish their home to accommodate for their growing family. 11 The Lodge Project was used to practice using our skills in computer model building in the program Sketchup. It is a computer rendered model of the Endicott College Lodge Building. 12 Both images are examples of many project boards I laid out and constructed made during my internship at NI Design in Farmington, CT over January break and the summer. I created the graphic border for the Barnes and Noble Board and then sat in on the meeting with the Barnes and Noble company.
