1 CAT des sinus paranasaux Images & Tentatives d explication - Pictures & Interpretations Premieres tentatives d explications par le Dr. Qualo: elles se revelerent., par la suite erronees apres la visite au Dr. Amanda Silver Images des clichés CAT du crâne montrant l hypertrophie d un cornet gauche (Fig. 2 et 3), une différence entre les deux os temporaux dont le gauche serait enflammé et même érodée (Fig 1 & 4); la canine droite supérieure à la racine érodée après une abces dentaire et la canine gauche dont la racine paraît trop avancée dans la mâchoire (Fig. 5). Sur la figure 6, on peut voir la difference entre les cornets et les ostiums (ostia) nasaux droits et gauches avec de plus grands cornets gauches (hypertrophiques) et des ostia gauches retrecis. Au niveau de l os frontal dont la pneumatization est excessive, celle-ci est plus accentuee a droite. The explanations given by the specialist in Sinus (ENT), the Dr. Amanda Silver K. (a French lady), are the following: what is seen in the right is effectively the left side and what is seen in the left represents the right side of the body (a contrary mistake I have done in my interpretation). What she saw is no hypertrophy that the left nasal conchae are smaller than the right ones and that is due to their deshydratation or dessication. That is the major causes of my symptoms and signs- nose bleeding because the left nose blood vessels are too close of the surface (Fr.; à fleur de peau ), pain on the left side of the cranium because of the involvement of the Trigeminal nerve (Trigeminal neuralgia or/and TMJ Syndrome

Personally I know that: 1. the left cervico-cranial ankylosis has ben preceded by the left chronic otitis media due to the postnasal drip accompanying this chronic sinus infection mostly on the left side. 2. that while she thinks to a neurological involvement (the Trigeminal nerve involvement) I think ratherly to a bony and articular involvement with the

3 extension of the inflammation to the left side of the spine and the skeleton My final conclusions, whatever this superspecialist could have said, are : 1. there is a conflict between the CAT scan and the semiology that left me unsatisfied with this small clinic where they confuse ostium and osteum on their ad, over the internet (see Balloon sinusoplasty in Treatment & Complications of Sinusitis: ) 2. that the doctor may not have seized the fundamental of the problem (Fr.; le medecin peut ne pas avoir saisi l'essence du probleme) 3. or the case is too complex for this small clinic (Fr.; ou que le cas soit trop complique pour cette petite clinique (comme elle me semble avoir dit))
