1 Chairman Kwame R. Brown at the request of the Mayor A PROPOSED RESOLUTION IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA To confirm the appointment of Ms. Michele V. Hagans as a member and as chairperson of the Washington Convention and Sports Authority Board of Directors. RESOLVED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this resolution may be cited as the "Washington Convention and Sports Authority Board of Directors Michele V. Hagans Confirmation Resolution of 2011". Sec. 2. The Council of the District of Columbia confirms the appointment of: Michele V. Hagans 1645 Myrtle Street, N.W. Washington, DC (Ward 4) as a public member and as chairperson of the Washington Convention and Sports Authority Board of Directors, replacing Mitchell Schear whose term expired May 16, 2011, for a term to end May 16, Sec. 3. The Secretary to the Council of the District of Columbia shall transmit a copy of this resolution, upon its adoption, to the nominee and to the Office of the Mayor. Sec. 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.
