12 ESPN: The University ESPN: The University consists of eight, two-hour modules designed to inform ESPN employees about ESPN s business and operations. The modules were developed in response to employees desire to know more about what other departments do. The modules include content about the department s role at ESPN and how they contribute to the company s success. With senior leaders serving as faculty, each module includes a team exercise which requires participants to practically apply what they learned from the presentation, which in turn provides faculty with potential new business ideas and insights. 1.
