37 C5 Integrated Detail Integrated Detail extends the out of the box BPC drill-through by allowing users to invoke a query which passes parameters from their BPC report and displays the results in a rich, graphical BI environment. Users can continue to perform analysis in this environment and access data from a variety of sources. This is one component of a comprehensive Reporting and Business Intelligence strategy. 37

38 C5 Integrated Detail: Travel Expenses Actual Travel Expenses are MUCH higher vs. the Budget. The user can use Column5 s Integrated Detail feature to investigate more details using a BI Environment. The user clicks on the 149k in Actual Travel Expenses. 38

39 C5 Integrated Detail: Crystal Reports Column5 s Integrated Detail automatically invokes the BI Environment of choice and shows a graphical view of the detail querying the source system. A user can drill further for more analysis. 39

40 C5 Integrated Detail: Crystal Reports In this example, the user was able to drill from the total Travel Expense line in BPC, through to the details of the Accounting Transaction to see Expenses by Employee and drill through again to see Expense report information. 40

41 Comments / Variance Explanation Comments can be added to the Database at the appropriate intersection. Comments can have priority (Critical, High, Med, Low) and key words also associated with them. Unstructured Documents can also be attached. 41
