3 Teye is A Compact Automated In Vehicle Digital Video, Audio and Data Recorder storing data to a removable SD card Mounted on the windshield of the vehicle, incorporates: Two Cameras (one forward, one rear facing) Integrated GPS antenna (recording vehicle speed, direction and location) Microphone Visual and Audible system status indicator (LED Display and Chime) Built in G Sensor detecting shock and acceleration/deceleration

4 Accessory module tailors the recorder to application specific use: Timed Shut Down Module: allows the recorder to continue video/audio and data capture, even if the vehicle s engine has been turned off (module is pre set to a predetermined time). Applies to school, city, package delivery markets. Taxi/Limousine/Car for Hire Accessory Module: Without this module, the recorder erases the oldest recording made as the SD card reaches capacity (first in, first out), Use of this module allows the recorder to take a short video clip of everyone inside the car at the time when the taximeter has been turned on. This file is treated like an event file and is only erased by the user, via a PC, when video is reviewed.

13 From the Start of Ignition, Teye records all video and audio onto an 8 GB SD card for 6-8 Hours in a loop, first in, first out, erasing the oldest data with the most recent when the SD card fills up. Other systems only record incidents or events and not the entire trip or ride. If the internal G Sensor senses an abnormal or abrupt change, the system stores this data onto the SD card and will not be erased. The Driver will be alerted by a sound from the unit s speaker so he or she knows the X,Y, and/or Z axis settings of the G sensor was breached. Typically 1 Minute* before and after this detected event sees data that is automatically stored for review as an Event. *The fleet or security manager can choose the pre event recording time; either 1, 2, or 3 minutes at time of system set-up

14 When the engine is turned off, an auxiliary module allows the system to record for another 5 minutes to 14 hours depending on how the system was set up. The Driver may also record incidents seen using an emergency panic button either on the unit or one mounted covertly, saving 1 Minute * before and after the event trigger that is stored for review. Optionally, turning on the taxi meter also records a short video and audio clip that is saved until erased by the person responsible for the system and recorded data. (unit connects to the HIRED relay output of the taxi meter) * The Fleet Manager or Security Manager can choose pre event recording time of either 1,2, or 3 minutes at time of system set up. >To prevent tampering or un-authorized access to the unit or the removable SD card, a locking cabinet option is available. ailable

15 Continuous recording and manually or automatically generated alarms share the same memory space. As alarms are generated by the Driver or the G-Sensor, these alarms take priority over the continuously recorded video and audio. These alarms may not be overwritten and are manually erased only using a PC. A chime and message alerts the user that near total capacity of the SD card has been reached. Once capacity has been reached, files not activated by an alarm will begin to be overwritten, starting with the oldest file date.
