This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which appeared in The Daily News dated on 3 rd January, Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited using its own funds intends to enter into contract with qualified Architectural consulting firm (Lead Consultant) to render architectural and engineering services during the pre-contract stage involving the planning, design and preparation of bid documents, bid evaluation, contract negotiations and award, and project management and supervision for the project 3. The proposed project for construction of Regional office buildings in North Zone Regions (Arusha, Manyara & Kilimanjaro Regions) and Mbulu District involves designing, preparation of working drawings, tender documents and supervision during execution of the project. 4. Each Region shall be treated as a lot to a tender. Thus we will have four lots during implementation. 5. In order to facilitate the design of the building extension, the Consultant need to be engaged as required by the Architects and Quantity Surveyor s Board regulations. 6. The scope of works to be undertaken by the Consultant includes the following: Site supervision 7. The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services which include planning, design and preparation of bid documents, bid evaluation, contract negotiations and award, and project management and supervision for the project during postcontract stage. 8. Interested Eligible firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant s profile, brochures, description of similar assignments in the past five (5) years, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff with their CV s and certificates of registration with relevant professional boards), etc. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. 9. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations). 10. Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.

The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited has set aside funds for the operation of the company during the financial year It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for which this invitation for quotation is issued. 2. The Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited now invites sealed tenders from eligible Tenderers for Supply of Cables (Current), Pulling & Termination of Current Cables from Control/Protection Panel to Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) at Makuyuni Substation 3.
