2 Government of Nepal Ministry of Physical Planning and Works Babarmahal, Kathmandu Notice No: 01/2067/068 First Date of Publication: 05/10/2067 Expressions of Interest The Government of Nepal,, Asset management, contract management and quality control project invites Expressions of Interest (EoI) for the purpose of short listing the qualified, eligible and experienced domestic Consultants/Consulting Firm(s) for (A) Detailed Project Report preparation works of North South Koridors namely 1. Karnali koridor 2. Kaligandaki koridor 3. Koshi koridor, Khadbari- Kimathanka 4. Tamakoshi-Lamabagar China baorder 5. Taplejung-Olangchunggola Road (B) Research and Development works and (C) Standing list (Asset/contract management and PPP works) for consulting services. The budget to this purpose has been allocated by the Government of Nepal for the fiscal year 2067/068. Consulting Firms experienced in the above mention works (Preparation of DPR, R&D works and standing list separately) and willing to provide the services are hereby invited to submit their 'Expressions of Interest (EoI)'. The EoI document of each work is available in the Project Office or it can be downloaded from the DoR website, The EoI document of each work shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and must reach the Asset management, contract management and quality control project of the, Babarmahal no later than the working hours on the 15th day of first publication of this notice. In case the day of submission of the EoI falls on a public holiday, the EoI shall be submitted on the following working day. Only those short listed Consultants/Consulting Firms(s) shall be invited to submit the 'Request for Proposal (RFP)' for the above mentioned job. The experiences of the firm/s shall produce certified evidences of completion of the job either as a corporate entity individually or as one of the major companies with a legal association from concerned agencies of Government of Nepal. Only one Firm is permitted to submit one EoI either single or in a joint venture, failing which such Firm Page 2

3 shall be not be short listed. A firm participating in the short listing process shall have to provide its details like the name, address and other relevant information. Firms participating as Joint Venture shall also have to disclose the name of the Prime firm. The Department reserves the right to shortlist or not to shortlist any or all of the Firms without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Further information or clarification on the EoI can be obtained from the Asset management, contract management and quality control project of the, Babarmahal during office hours. Page 3

4 Government of Nepal Ministry Of Physical Planning and Works Babar Mahal, Kathmandu Expression of Interest for inclusion in Standing List for PPP in Road Sector I Introduction The (DOR) invites Expression of Interest (EoI) from domestic capable Consulting Firm(s) for inclusion in the Standing List to carry out PPP works in Road sector. II Criteria for Inclusion in Standing List The eligibility and qualifying criteria are provided in Appendix I. The Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be provided only to the qualified Consulting Firm(s) as and when required. III Joint Venture Consulting Firms can form a Joint Venture (JV), but a firm is not eligible to submit more than one EOI either as a single firm or as a member of a JV. Failing this the EOI of such firm(s) shall be rejected. The EOI must clearly mention the name of the leading firm. IV Information about the Consulting Firms The Consulting Firm(s) are required to complete the forms prescribed below. 6 Note: The firm/s shall produce certified evidences of completion of the job either as a corporate entity individually or as one of the major companies with legal association. Sublet works or assignment as a sub consultant shall not be considered for evaluation. Page 6

7 APPENDIX - I ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFING CRITERIA The following are the eligibility and qualifying criteria for inclusion in standing list. a. The firm must be registered in appropriate government office b. The firm must be registered in Value Added Tax (VAT) office c. Must submit evidence of Tax Clearance or Tax return submission receipt up to last Fiscal Year. d. Experience in Similar Work : The firm should have completed at least One consulting service in PPP over the last 5 years. [The experience in the above mentioned work shall be added to compute total experience] Page 7
