Get more out of vrealize Operations with third-party integrations and product extensions that enable comprehensive visibility across applications and infrastructure in one place with dashboards, reports, alerts, and remediation actions. vrealize Operations Product Extensions and Third-Party Integrations vrealize Operations product extensions and third-party integrations are typically delivered as one or multiple Management Packs. A Management Pack can be further categorized as an agent plugin, content pack or compliance pack. Note: In previous vrealize Operations releases, Management Packs were called Third-Party Adapters. vrealize Operations Management Packs fall into the following categories (Figure 1). Advanced Management Packs Advanced Management Packs are available with the Advanced or Enterprise edition of vrealize Operations as well as VMware vrealize Operations Insight. These Management Packs target infrastructure and OS. Enterprise Management Packs Enterprise Management Packs are available with the Enterprise edition of the vrealize Operations. These Management Packs target business-critical applications. Operating System Agent Plug-Ins OS agent plugins are available with the Advanced or Enterprise editions of vrealize Operations. These plugins are deployed with VMware vrealize Hyperic and collect operating system data. Application Agent Plug-ins Application agent plugins are available with the Enterprise edition of vrealize Operations. These plugins are deployed with vrealize Hyperic and collect application data. Compliance Packs Compliance Packs are available with the Advanced edition of vrealize Operations. These are deployed with VMware vrealize Configuration Manager and contain compliance templates for a wide variety of elements. Content Packs Content Packs are available with VMwarevRealize Log Insight and vrealize Operations Insight. Content Packs provide log analytics and dashboards for a broad set of log data sources. HP Business Availability Center (To be deprecated and provided by a Partner) VMware Collects metrics from HP Business Availability Center (BAC). HP BAC contains components for monitoring and managing business services and applications. KEMP Virtual LoadMaster VMware Provides visibility into application performance metrics on deployed VLMs as well as the virtual machines that they are providing application delivery services for. TeamQuest Manager VMware Provides visibility into a wide variety of different server types being monitored by TeamQuest software and gathers data for some applications. Compuware Gomez (To be deprecated and provided by a Partner) VMware Provides Gomez Backbone measurements by running backbone tests from Gomez nodes on the Internet backbone and gathering last-mile data from users desktops. Keynote VMware Collects resource data and performance metrics in real time as well as in historical trends from the Keynote Web monitoring system by creating resources in vcenter Operations Manager. HP SiteScope (To be deprecated and provided by a Partner) VMware Collects metrics from log files generated by HP SiteScope. The data consists of monitor classes, including the attributes and monitor groups for each monitor class. Care System Analytics for EPIC VMware Improve visibility into the performance of your electronic medical record (EMR) system - from infrastructure to the point of care - with VMware Care Systems Analytics. SAP CCMS Blue Medora Creates resources for specific SAP objects and collects metrics from an SAP server via SAP BAPI calls by using an adjustable collection interval.
