2 User Registration for username and password a) Enter your Skill Knowledge Provider Name. b) Enter the Contact Person s First Name, Last Name& Designation. 2

3 c) Enter a Valid 10 Digit Mobile Number for Contact by AICTE when required. d) Enter valid Address in Contact Address Field. Your User Name & Password will be sent to this Address. e) Your Confirm Address and Address should be same or else an error will be displayed. f) Enter the Street Address1, Street Address2, City, District, State and Pin Code. g) Select a Security Question & provide Security Answer. Do remember your Security Question and Security Answer. You have to provide them in case of Password Reset or Change. 3

4 h) Before Submitting the Application, kindly verify whether you have provided all necessary details correctly and check the I Accept checkbox to accept the latest terms and conditions for epayments. I) Once you submit the form, you will be directed to the following page to make the Payment for Creation of User Id through Online Payment Gateway. j) Note down your Request Number and click Click here to make Payment link. This will open ICICI page as shown below. k) A confirmation of your having read the terms and conditions towards the payment over internet would be required for you to proceed further. You may confirm the same by clicking the check box, provided I hereby confirm having read the terms and conditions towards the payment over internet and I accept the same. To view the terms and conditions in details, please click on the link on Terms and conditions available on same page. 4

5 L) You will then be redirected to ICICI Bank Payment gateway. Please input the Credit/Debit Card* details. The amount payable shall include AICTE fee along with convenience fees & taxes. M)After entering the details, click on Pay. You would then be prompted to enter 3D verification details of your card for necessary validation of the card. 5

7 n) Post validation of correct details provided, the transaction shall be processed and you shall receive a message displaying successful payment. You shall then be redirected back to AICTE server, where the following message shall be displayed informing you of the payment transaction Id & informing that the User ID & Password will be sent to the Address you provided in the Login form. o) In case of unsuccessful payment because of invalid card details provided or declining of the transaction by the card issuing bank, or unavailable credit limit on the card you may reattempt the same with corrective action at your end using same card or any other card. 8 Login to AICTE web portal with the User ID and Password provided on With the User ID and Password provided to you through , login to the AICTE web portal 8

9 To Change The Password: To change your password, go to Change Password tab & Click Change Password Button Enter your Old Password, New Password & verify New Password. Click Save Button. Enter your Old Password, New Password & verify New Password. Click Save Button. 9

10 Once you click Save, A popup window will appear as You have Unsaved Changes in Password. Continue? Click Once you click Ok, your Password will be changed & you will be redirected to My Profile View. 10

11 NEEM Agent Application Help Manual for NEEM Agent User/NEEM Agent login to existing AICTE Portal with the credentials provided by AICTE. Click on NEEM Agent Application tab to view the NEEM Agent Application screen. 11

12 NEEM Agent Application Screen: 1. Click on New button, a unique NEEM Id gets created. 2. Status of the Application will be set to New. 12

13 3. Enter the NEEM Information like Name, Address, State, District, Nature of Activities/Business, Company Website, Telephone Number, Fax no. 4. Select NEEM Type from the drop down List. List contains the below values: Society Trust Section 25 Company Central Govt. Body State Government Body Others 5. Select Trades & Industries by clicking on the icon in the left side of the field. A Trades & Industries window will appear. Select any number of values from the drop down of Trades & Industries. 6. Select Branch Offices in by clicking on the icon in the left side of the field. Branch window will appear. Select branches for NEEM from the list. 13

14 7. ID, Landline Number, Experience with NEEM (No of Years) and Designation. 8. Enter the Registration details like Registered as, Registration No., Registered with, Established in (Year) & Registration Date. 9. Select the Registered as from the drop down List. List contains the below values: NGO Trust Society Private Section 25 Company Limited Company Public Limited Company Other 10. Click on Save button to save the record. Name, State, District, Company Website, Telephone#, NEEM Type, Trades & Industries, Title, Surname, First Name, Mobile#, ID, Landline#, Registered as, Registration No., Registered with, Registration Date are required field. 14

15 Eligibility of NEEM Agent Tab: 1. Answer the questionnaire by selecting Yes or No values from the drop down list. 2. Select the checkbox if all the above information is correct & affidavit is correct. 3. Click on Save button to save the record. 15

16 Attachment Tab: 1. Click on new button to attach scan copy Affidavit. 2. Click on the icon in the Attachment Name field & attach the file. 3. Click on save button to save the record & delete button to delete the record. 16

17 No of Employees Tab: Help Manual for NEEM Agent 1. Enter the employees count detail for officers as Senior Level Count, Middle Level Count & Junior Level Count. 2. Enter the Supporting Technical Staff count. 3. Click on Save button to save the record. 17

19 NEEM Agent Processing Fee Payment: Once you have submitted the application you can precede with NEEM Agent Processing Fee payment 19

20 Click on NEEM Payment Tab for Online NEEM Agent Processing fee Payment. 20

21 Click on Select Mode of Payment Button to begin the Payment process. 21

22 Select the mode of payment from the options available in the list. There are two mode of Payments options available: CIB (ICICI Only) For users who want to make payment from Corporate Internet Banking Account of ICICI Bank. CIB/Retail Banking(Other Bank) For users who want to make payment from Retail Banking Account of other banks (including ICICI bank) and Corporate Internet Banking Account of other banks 22

24 Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) For making payment via Corporate Internet Banking of ICICI Bank, select the Mode of Payment CIB (ICICI Bank Only). 24

25 After selecting the mode of payment, the Amount will be calculated automatically. The Amount that needs to be paid for NEEM Agent Processing fee is 1,00,000. The Amount to be paid is auto populated 25

28 You will be redirected to ICICI bank CIB payment Page. Enter Corporate ID/User ID /Password and click on Login Button. 28

30 After Closing the Window. Do Click on View Payment Status Button. To Complete Your Transaction. 30

31 Transaction ID, Receipt Flag and Transaction Date are populated once the Payment has been successfully done. 31

32 Also, you can observe that the Sub Status of the application is changed to Payment Received. 32

33 CIB/Retail Banking(Other Bank) For making payment via Corporate Internet Banking or Retail Banking, select the option CIB/Retail Banking (Other Bank). 33

37 Choose the bank to make the payment and click on the button Continue to Payment button. For Example: To make payment by Federal Bank, Choose the bank and click on the button Continue to Payment. 37

38 You will be redirected to the Banks Payment page. Don t refresh the page. 38

39 If you wish to make payment by Retail Banking, enter the User ID / Password and click on the Login button. If you want to make payment by Corporate Internet Banking click on the Corporate Users Click here button. 39

40 To make payment by Corporate Internet Banking, enter the Corporate ID / User ID / Password and click on the Login button. After you have successfully made the payment from your bank account, the below pop up message will be displayed. Click on OK. 40

41 Then click on Please click here to complete the transaction button. 41

42 Now you will be redirected to the response page. Don t refresh the page. 42

43 In the response page, note down the Transaction Id and TPSL Transaction Id, you can now close the window. 43

44 Transaction ID, TPSL Transaction ID, Receipt Flag and Transaction Date are populated once the Payment has been successfully done. 44

45 Once the complete payment is done then you can observe that the Sub Status of the application is changed to Payment Received. 45

46 Note:- For Institutes which have Corporate Internet Banking access from respective banks having Maker/Checker/Authorizer Levels, care should be taken that all individuals approve the payment for AICTE. The above is applicable to all Corporate Internet Banking payments made via ICICI Bank or via any other Bank mentioned in List of Banks available for payment. OR Microsoft Vista with SP1 or above4 with Internet Explorer 7.0 and above Screen/Monitor Resolution Best viewed with 1024x768 screen resolution Other Software Requirements Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or above is a prerequisite Java Script needs to be enabled NOTE: PLEASE TAKE THE HELP OF YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR/EXPERT TO MAKE THE BELOW CHANGES TO YOUR BROWSER (INTERNET EXPLORER). DEPENDING ON YOUR BROWSER VERSION, SOME OF THESE SETTINGS MIGHT BE AT DIFFERENT A PLACE/TAB. Window 7 (Settings) For Windows 7, we have to go to Choose Tools > Internet Options>Security>Trusted sites>sites>add india.org Require server verification ( for all sites in this zone should be unchecked. Click on OK then apply and then OK. Microsoft Java Virtual Machine (MSJVM) Choose Tools > Internet Options. (Only if Sun JRE is also present) > Select the Advanced tab > select Java (Sun) > verify that the "use Java <XXXX>" entry is not enabled or checked. 47

48 Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Choose Tools > Internet Options. Select the Advanced tab. When the Advanced settings appear, choose Java (Sun)> and enable/check the use Java <XXXX> entry. (XXXX = version) Security Settings ActiveX Controls and Plugins Choose Tools > Internet Options. Select the Security tab, and then select Custom Level. When the Security settings appear, select ActiveX Controls and Plug ins > Download Signed ActiveX Controls > Enable. When the Security settings appear, select ActiveX Controls and Plug ins > Run ActiveX Controls and Plug ins > Enable. When the Security settings appear, select ActiveX Controls and Plug ins > Script ActiveX Controls marked safe for scripting > Enable. Security Settings Script Settings Choose Tools > Internet Options > Security tab. In Security settings, select Miscellaneous > set Active Scripting to prompt or enable. In Security settings, select Miscellaneous > set Scripting of Java Applets to prompt or enable. Security Settings Downloads Choose Tools > Internet Options. Select the Security tab, choose Custom Level. 48

49 When the Security settings appear, select Downloads > File Download > Enable. Security Settings IFRAMES / Miscellaneous Settings Choose Tools > Internet Options. Select the Security tab. In Security settings, select Miscellaneous > set "Launching Programs and files in an IFRAME" to prompt or enable. Enable is recommended. Advanced Settings Script Debugging Choose Tools > Internet Options. 49

50 Select the Advanced tab > select Browsing > Download Signed ActiveX Controls > select disable script debugging. Security Settings Secure Sockets Layer Choose Tools > Internet Options. Select the Security tab, and then select Custom Level. When the Security settings appear, select: Miscellaneous > Display Mixed Content > Enable. 50

51 Microsoft Java Virtual Machine (MSJVM) Choose Tools > Internet Options. Select the Security tab, then select medium low or lower for the deployment security Zone or Custom. Only if Custom is selected: When the Security settings appear, select Microsoft VM > Java Permissions > low or medium safety. To access this setting for Internet Explorer 6.0: Choose Tools > Internet Options. Select the Privacy tab. In Privacy settings, select Advanced button > Ensure the "Override automatic cookie handling" box is checked. 51
