EXCLUSIVE POLYESTER GELCOAT Is applied to a polished stainless steel mold and allowed to set-up. White is standard, other colors are optional. 2. FIBERGLASS PROCESS Once the gelcoat is set-up, fiberglass and resin are sprayed to obtain the desired thickness. Glass strands are variable length and randomly oriented to create the structural substrate of the panel. Because durability, cleanability and aesthetic appeal dominate the pharmaceutical industry, CleanSeal s nonporous, seamless, molded fiberglass panels are unmatched in the industry. There is no other door that can be cleaned as quickly or easily. Even when our customers use harsh cleansers like LPH, Vesphene, and SporKlenz, our doors stand up without any negative affects. ROLLING/CURING After spraying the fiberglass and resin into the mold, it is immediately rolled to maintain consistent skin thickness and left to cure for a minimum of 24 hours. 4. PRESS Once cured, two molded skins are fitted together and prepared for the foam injection press. Closed cell polyurethane foam is injected into the panels where it will expand and bond to the skin and interior components for approximately one hour to ensure the integrity of the completed panel. 5. BUFFING/FINISHING When the panel is removed from the press, a final seam of gelcoat is applied around the entire perimeter of the door panel creating a completely monolithic sealed structure. It is then buffed to an ultra smooth, nonporous finish. The panel is now ready for assembly of hardware, capping and vision panels as required.
