3 We have fantastic team spirit and we re very enthusiastic. For me, it s important that studying is not merely reading books. In on-the-job learning I am able to show off my skills as they develop. 4 It was only once I reached adulthood that I realised I needed a new direction in life. At first, this change appeared a little daunting, but Lapland Vocational College gave me plenty of support and a flexible, personal route to achieve my goals. 5 Our duty is to provide opportunity Here at Lapland Vocational College we feel a strong obligation to develop Lapland. Sustainable welfare is built from the expertise we want to take further. We educate experts for the requirements of the region. The scope and pertinence of the education we provide has a big influence on preventing expertise from slipping beyond our reach. Regional welfare is a resource definitely worth enhancing. Even though I was born and raised in Helsinki, I wanted to make northern flora and fauna my profession. As a nature instructor, my work is rather independent and I feel I am here to safeguard so much, in a positive light from the perspective of both nature and customers. Maija, 21 years old.
