3 When starting nurse practitioner school three years ago, I felt somewhat overwhelmed with the stress of starting back to school. Through hard work and perseverance I have made it to graduation. I have learned a great deal in my education at WJU. I will warn you that obtaining your masters degree, will not be easy. But nothing worthwhile in life ever is. WJU was instrumental in helping me achieve my personal best. My learning while here at WJU was probably the most intense education I have ever had. I have grown personally and professionally with my coursework and clinical time. I look forward to what the future may hold.

4 For me, it was a no brainer when it came to choosing a university to study for my Nurse practitioner Masters degree. I already graduated from Wheeling Jesuit once in 1988, with my BSN. Returning to Wheeling Jesuit 19 years later was a very scary endeavor. But, I knew in choosing Wheeling Jesuit, I would receive a superior education. I also knew that I wouldn't be one in a sea of hundreds. I knew that the professors sincerely care about their students and want them to succeed. With their assistance, direction and tons of support, I will be graduating in December of this year. You don't get that personal attention just anywhere. At Wheeling Jesuit, I was able to succeed...again!

6 Beth Edwards My Choice to go back to school was to have more job security and more opportunities in the nursing field. This program has offered so many opportunities until it is hard to single out one just one. As a Clinical Nurse Leader I will be able to help my organization offer quality patient care.

11 Gonzaga offers a high quality, reputable graduate nursing program with the convenience of distance learning. I was able to be prepared as a family nurse practitioner and continue to work and live at home in Montana. Gonzaga was well worth the financial and time commitments. ' Gretchen Fowell MSN Gonzaga's Nursing program is wonderfully flexible for those with work, family or health challenges. 13 Katherine Wardlaw, RN BSN student, was elected to the position of Coordinator of the Baton Rouge Chapter of the Association of Women s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). Arlisha Pratt, MSN HCSM, was selected as one of The Great 100 Nurses of 2007.Robin Rome, MSN ANP, was selected as one of The Great 100 Nurses of Melanie Toups, MSN FNP, was selected as one of The Great 100 Nurses of Dior Reith Cabrera, BSN Nursing degree program, received the Outstanding Student Award for the Bachelors of Science Nursing program during City College's Award Ceremony. Lisa Golden, MSN NP degree program, received the Outstanding Student Award for the Bachelors of Science Nursing NP program during City College's Award Ceremony.

15 Mark Smith RN to BSN Online Program December 2008 My plan to enroll in the RN to BSN online program was an easy choice to made. Creighton has a well known reputation for providing a high level of education, developing professionals and leaders....you know the education you will receive at Creighton will be relevant and based upon the latest information and findings from studies. For the money, you know that you are going to get your money s worth and be led by instructors and joined by fellow students who are dedicated to the profession and share the same enthusiasm for learning and education as you do. One benefit of doing this on line was that it was very flexible with my work schedule.... Another benefit was that we had a chance to meet with the instructors and other fellow students.. You could put faces with names, you really knew where the other students were coming from. You could work full time and apply the information to your work and really see it come to life. You were aware of the good you could do for the community and how to develop yourself as a professional nurse. I plan to further my education, hopefully on my way to a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree also from Creighton.

16 I choose Creighton because I checked many area schools of nursing and found the faculty and staff at Creighton to be the most responsive in answering questions regarding what I needed for prerequisites... It made it enrolling easier and I thought because they were so responsive it would be more a personal attention factor with this program. The online program allowed me to pursue my BSN while still be available to continue my current job and raising my family because I could work on school items on my own schedule. I learned so much in this program that my excitement and pride in the nursing profession have been renewed and invigorated. I m 39 years old and I plan to begin graduate school at Creighton this fall to pursue my dream of being a family nurse practitioner. This is something I thought about since graduating from my initial nursing program 15 years ago. I never thought I would be able to do it.
