2 Biographical Information Ethan Rogers, Senior Program Manager, Industry, ACEEE th St. NW, Washington, DC Ethan Rogers joined ACEEE in February 2012 and is responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the industry program. The program team conducts in-depth analysis of energy use by industrial facilities and how they are reduced through investments in new more efficient technologies and practices. The program also analyzes and reports on efficiency programs targeting the industrial sector and on opportunities to increase the use of combined heat and power (CHP) to meet the nation s energy needs. The team works collaboratively with businesses, government agencies, and public interest groups in the industrial sector to advance policies that encourage energy efficiency. Rick Pettibone, Senior Energy Advisor, Franklin Energy 5450 N Cumberland Ave., Suite 125, Chicago, IL Rick Pettibone was contracted by Franklin Energy as a Senior Energy Advisor in 2001, at the time bringing with him over 20 years of energy industry experience to the program. In his role as an Energy Advisor he conducts energy efficiency surveys and develops energy action and management plans, provides technical support to commercial and industrial customers, and helps to identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, overcome implementation barriers and plan capital expenditures. Rick graduated from University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in the spring of 1980 with a Bachelor in Education degree. Following graduation he accepted a position with Wisconsin Power and Light (now Alliant Energy) as a Residential Rep. Over a 15 year career with WPL/Alliant he held various positions as he worked his way up the corporate ladder as well as completing coursework at UW Madison School of Engineering under the Energy I-IV program. In 1995 he started with Howard Energy, a natural gas producer, marketing natural gas to large industrial customers throughout the Midwest. Since 2000, Rick has been providing consulting services to customers of natural gas and electric utilities helping them to source and use both efficiently. Stephen Moritz, President & CEO Encentiv Energy 1501 Ardmore Blvd., Suite 102, Pittsburgh, PA Steve is the President & CEO of Encentiv Energy and one of its co-founders. For the last 20 years Steve has been at the leading edge of multiple energy industry trends. At Strategic Energy he led marketing and national sales as the company grew from a startup to revenue of over $1.2B when it was sold to Great Plains Energy. He then joined the executive team at Cadence Network, a utility bill management software company, where in less than four years helped triple the size of the company and sell it to its largest competitor. Steve developed the concept for Encentiv Energy in 2009 just as the energy industry was moving from focusing on deregulation to developing incentives to promote energy efficiency. His vision for Encentiv Energy is to provide customers the information and tools to leverage the most value out of their energy efficiency projects. Steve has a JD degree from the University of Pittsburgh - School of Law and a BS in Business from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Hedman, Technical Director at the Institute for Industrial Productivity (IIP), has over 30 years of experience in industrial energy technology research, development and commercialization, and is a recognized authority on combined heat and power (CHP) technologies, markets and policies. IIP is an international non-profit organization focused on promoting greenhouse gas reductions in the industrial sector through energy efficiency and clean energy programs. Prior to IIP, Bruce led ICF International s consulting services practice in distributed generation and CHP. As a vice president at ICF, he provided guidance and support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency s Combined Heat and Power Partnership and the U.S. Department of Energy s Distributed Energy program. He also provided technology and market evaluations, and strategic planning support to numerous private developers and equipment suppliers. Before joining ICF, Bruce was a vice president at Onsite Energy, an independent energy services company that specialized in energy efficiency projects in the industrial sector and in distributed generation applications. Prior to Onsite, he was executive director of the Industrial Center, Inc., a natural gas industry membership organization that supported the commercial introduction of new technologies into the industrial market. Bruce started his career at the Gas Research Institute in Chicago, holding a variety of research management positions in industrial end-use and power generation. When he left GRI in 1994, he was group manager of industrial and power generation products. Bruce is a past chairman of the United States Combined Heat and Power Association and an inductee in the American Gas Association's Industrial and Commercial Hall of Flame. He was recently named a 2015 Champion of Energy Efficiency by ACEEE for his career-long commitment to industrial energy efficiency and combined heat and power technology and policy. Bruce has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
