2 1.4 Organization Description General Business Description Aware Engineering is a pre-funded startup developing our product The Integrated Health Platform (IHP). The IHP is a SaaS platform providing physicians, patients, and insurance companies with valuable therapy adherence data. We have an impressive scientific advisory board including arguably world s top patient monitoring expert at Massachusetts General Hospital and the leading cystic fibrosis adherence specialist at Boston Children s Hospital. Technology Description (Main Products/Services) Patients who suffer with chronic lung disease like cystic fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease require an equipment and time intensive therapy regimen. Since it is difficult to adhere and/or know your devices are optimally functionally, this often results in hospitalizations which are costly and dangerous. Adherence is the best predictor of future health and so we have developed an unobstrusive array of sensors which actively collect adherence data from the patients FDA approved medical devices.
