2 Syllabus The training programme is designed to provide the essential knowledge and basic skill input in a systematic manor by practicing Modeling objects, characters, and environment. The methodology followed to impart the skill is implicative to provide livelihood to the candidates to the desired sector. The course 3D Modeling for animation is designed for training the talents to take up the career as a CG Artist. The works of a CG artist is creative in nature and this course experiencing the industry oriented learning system. Successful candidates will be able to work as a CG artist in Animation, Gaming and Film Industry along with Construction, engineering, medical, educational and research sectors. Introduction to Media, Industry and film making process. 3 KEY COMPETENCIES DEVELOPED IN TRAINING At the end of the program students will have: Knowledge o To recall or recognition of specifics, universal standards, structures etc... o Basic knowledge of animation film making. o Understanding the kinds of jobs and careers available in this industry. o Subject matter knowledge. o Solid command over the tools and software. o Concrete basic knowledge on art and visualization technique. o Art of appreciation. o Comprehension. o Understand the materialistic knowhow of given topic. o The individual is expected to go beyond the level of recall and recognition by intellectually processing the information. o Understand the medium of 3D in depth. o Sound idea about the process to be done to accomplish a task. o Expertise the special skills and competence. o Problem solving Ability, Application. o Individual uses the knowledge and comprehension of concepts, principles, ideas, principles, procedures in a situation or solve a problem o Potential to choose and apply special skills on a challenged test. o Identify the tools required for a particular task. 5 3 Character Modeling Basics of "RENDER AND COMPOSITING" Introduce different 'styles of characters used for animation and gaming. 4. BG Modeling Create own character, Detailed Study on Character Design, Clay Modeling methodology, Basics of Armature. 3D Model of a proposed Character, experiment special features and mannerisms to character, Identify the texture for developed characters, Deals with some procedural Textures, Learning Blender 3D UVW Maps And Unwrapping A Mesh, lighting to character, Compositing and Enhancement Phase Learn basic of "Perspective", Environment Modeling, develop an atmosphere. 3D UVW Maps And Unwrapping A Mesh More experiments with TEXTURING AND SHADING OF REALISTIC BACK GROUNDS for animation. Practice rendering, compositing Requirements to conduct practical for the course List down all the materials including equipment, consumables per student per batch basis required to conduct practical at the SDC Computer. Desk Top / Lap Top. (One to one computer for each student) Projector or Television screen One for Each Class. (To demonstrate the steps to do practical in a standard format) Audio facility. (The entire course content includes various tutorials from international media professionals and there working experiences.) One for Each Class. (Computer audio system) VER
6 Drawing Board and clip. Normal thin plywood board for holding A4, A3 Papers. For every individuals. Papers. Drawing Papers can be A4, A3 size paper for selected classes only. Board and markers. One for a class. Power System. Electricity supply for class room and Lab as well. Internship The candidates will be recruited under different camps. Each camp will be headed by professionals with a particular deadline of a project (film project / Episodical /TV shows) final out of the project from the camp developed by each student will be retained as his or her portfolio. The candidates can conditionally use their portfolios towards their further job opportunities or higher studies, they can start there blog with the portfolios. Each student will be getting a privilege to work as assistants to working Professionals throughout this total time of 150 hours. The internship activities will be conducted by Vismayasmax Animation studios. 7 Trainer Qualification Qualification Experience Eligibility Criteria of Trainer +2 Or Graduation 2 to 15 years. REFERENCE:- Modeler in the Media and Entertainment Industry is also known as a CG Modeler. JOB DESCRIPTION: Individuals at this job are responsible for creating computer generated models (Characters, machines, Props, Objects etc.) for animation. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTS: This job requires the individual to create various type of models using modeling software and tools.the individual must also have a good understanding of the human anatomy, Skelton structure, joints, facial muscles, expression etc. The individual must be well versed with the principles and techniques of 3D Modeling and animation. 3D Artist for Advertising and Graphic design scenario.
