Service: Assisting with general shelter maintenance, cleaning, painting, and donation sorting. The Bridge for Youth 1111 W 22 nd St., Minneapolis, MN Mission: Offers a safe and enriching environment for youth in crisis by providing shelter, building life skills, and assisting families in conflict. Service: Helping with taking inventory or sorting and possible assisting with yard work. Bridging, Inc. 201 W 87 th St., Bloomington, MN Mission: To provide the economically disadvantaged with a one-time gift of quality furniture and household items, helping to stabilize and improve their lives while effectively using community resources. Service: Working directly with families (helping them to select items they would like at their new home) or working behind the scenes moving and organizing furniture and other household items. 1

Community Emergency Assistance Program (CEAP) th Ave. N, Brooklyn Park, MN Mission: To stabilize individuals and families in financial distress and to maximize their ability to live independently and with dignity. Service: Working with clients at their homes, doing yard work and helping out with small chores. Community Emergency Services th Ave. S, Minneapolis, MN Mission: Dedicated to assisting community people in meeting basic physical, emotional and spiritual needs in a warm, accepting and Christ-like manner. Service: Helping with various projects including food distribution and interacting with clients. Dakota Woodlands 3430 Wescott Woodlands, Eagan, MN Mission: The only short-term housing facility for homeless women and children in Dakota County. Families are able to stay as long as necessary to move from having no homes to new homes of their own. During this time, residents are provided with services and education that help them address their issues related to homelessness. Service: Help out with children s activities and programs or do shelter maintenance and cleaning. Ebenezer 2722 Park Ave. S, Minneapolis, MN Mission: Helps older adults and others make their lives more independent, healthful, meaningful and secure. Service: Assist in daily programming and activities including arts and crafts or exercise. Engage the seniors in conversation and enjoy their company. 2

Great River Greening 35 Water St. #201, St. Paul, MN Mission: Leads and inspires community-based restoration of natural areas and open spaces, helping preserve natural areas, protect clean air and water, and increase urban residents access to natural areas and sustainable open space. Service: Help pick up trash or work with natural materials as part of river restoration. Jeremiah Program 1510 Laurel Ave. #100, Minneapolis, MN Mission: Assists single mothers and their children to break the cycle of poverty by providing safe affordable housing, developmental childcare, Life Skills programming, individual coaching and Empowerment training. Kaleidoscope Place 2400 Park Ave. S, Minneapolis, MN Mission: To provide a creative, educational, and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow in character and community. Service: Assist with the children s programs. Neighborhood Involvement Program 2431 Hennepin Ave. S, Minneapolis, MN Mission: To promote independence for seniors by providing low-cost home maintenance services and to prevent isolation through recreational/social opportunities. Service: Routine housecleaning, seasonal jobs, lawn care, snow removal and minor repairs. Our Saviour s Housing 2315 Chicago Ave. S, Minneapolis, MN Mission: To provide educational services for adult immigrants and refugees and to operate an emergency shelter and transitional housing for people experiencing homelessness.
