Service: Assisting with general shelter maintenance, cleaning, painting, and donation sorting. The Bridge for Youth 1111 W 22 nd St., Minneapolis, MN Mission: Offers a safe and enriching environment for youth in crisis by providing shelter, building life skills, and assisting families in conflict. Service: Helping with taking inventory or sorting and possible assisting with yard work. Service: Working with clients at their homes, doing yard work and helping out with small chores. Service: Helping with various projects including food distribution and interacting with clients. Dakota Woodlands 3430 Wescott Woodlands, Eagan, MN Mission: The only short-term housing facility for homeless women and children in Dakota County. Families are able to stay as long as necessary to move from having no homes to new homes of their own. During this time, residents are provided with services and education that help them address their issues related to homelessness. Service: Help out with children s activities and programs or do shelter maintenance and cleaning. Service: Help pick up trash or work with natural materials as part of river restoration.
