WHAT IS THE RODAN + FIELDS MACRO EXFOLIATOR COMPANION APP? This companion app is designed to help you get the most out of your Rodan + Fields REDEFINE MACRO Exfoliator. The app allows you to schedule weekly reminders, track your progress with a personalized photo journal, get exclusive tips from the Doctors and connect with other users. 2 HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE MACRO EXFOLIATOR COMPANION APP? To download the app, you can: 1. Click here to download from itunes. 2. Scan the QR code located on the back of your MACRO Exfoliator box or on page 1 of the User Guide. 3. Search the itunes store for MACRO Exfoliator. Once you have downloaded the app, you can activate by entering the unique code found on the bottom of your MACRO Exfoliator box (pictured below) and logging in with your Rodan + Fields account information. HOW MUCH DOES THE APP COST? The MACRO Exfoliator Companion App is free to all MACRO Exfoliator users. I LOST MY ACTIVATION CODE; CAN I STILL ACTIVATE MY APP? If you have lost your activation code, please contact Rodan + Fields Customer Service for instructions on how to activate the app. Customer Service Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. PST and can be reached at macroesupport@rodanandfields.com or HOW DO THE WEEKLY APPOINTMENTS WORK? Once you ve activated the MACRO Exfoliator App, you will be prompted to schedule a weekly MACRO Exfoliator appointment. You will receive an alert from the app when it is time to macroexfoliate each week. You can also add your weekly appointment to your ical if you d like your weekly appointment on your phone calendar.

3 ƒb HOW DOES ADD TO ical WORK? If you choose to Add to ical, your weekly appointment will be added to your iphone ical Calendar. Be sure to set an alert on your iphone calendar if you want a reminder before your weekly appointment. Please note that if you edit your weekly appointment time after already clicking Add to ical, you will need to click Update ical and change your appointment time.

4 HOW DO I SET MY WEEKLY APPOINTMENT FROM THE WEBSITE APPLICATION? If you are accessing the app from the website, you can create your weekly appointment by clicking Set Appointment. This will open your default calendar on your computer (Outlook or ical) and let you schedule your weekly appointment. HOW OFTEN SHOULD I POST A PHOTO IN THE REDEFINE MACRO EXFOLIATOR COMPANION APP? After week 1, you should post a progress photo every week after macro-exfoliating. For best results we recommend taking your photo 30 minutes after using your MACRO Exfoliator. You will be able to compare each week s photo to your baseline Week 1 photo and add notes on the changes you are noticing. WHY CAN T I POST AN AFTER PICTURE ON WEEK 1? The MACRO Exfoliator app is designed to treat your Week 1 photo as your baseline photo. So, it will begin tracking your After results in Week 2. The Week 1 photo is treated as your Before photo, so you can post your first After photo on Week 2. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO SHARE MY PHOTO WITH THE COMMUNITY? When saving your weekly results, you can choose to share your photo with the Community. If you choose to share your results, other MACRO Exfoliator App users will be able to see your Before

5 and (current) After progress photos. They will not be able to see your progress notes, only your Before photo and the after photo you choose to share. Your community photos will not be used for any other purpose outside of the app. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO SHARE MY PHOTO WITH R+F? When saving your weekly results, you can choose to share your photo with Rodan + Fields. If you choose to share your results, you are submitting your original photo and current progress photo to Rodan + Fields, and thereby grant Rodan + Fields full rights to use your Before and After photos across online and print marketing materials and websites. For full Terms & Conditions, click here. If your results are selected for publication, you ll receive a complimentary regimen of your choice. HOW DO THE BADGES WORK? As you use your REDEFINE MACRO Exfoliator and track your results, you will receive badges. You will be alerted within the app when you earn a badge and will be able to share your progress on Facebook. When you share your results, your Facebook post will link back to the Rodan + Fields MACRO Exfoliator Facebook Fan Page.

6 WHAT BADGES ARE AVAILABLE AND HOW DO I EARN THEM? You earn badges by taking different actions in the app. Some are awarded based on how long you have been tracking your progress and some are based on taking actions like sharing with the Community. If you are using an Android phone, you can access the MACRO Exfoliator Companion App on the web at macroexfoliator.rodanandfields.com. Please note, for best results and full functionality, we recommend you access the web version from your computer. IF I LOG IN TO THE APP FROM MY IPHONE AND FROM MY HOME COMPUTER, WILL I SEE THE SAME INFORMATION? For best results, we recommend you record your progress on one platform (either the app or the website). If you set up your MACRO Exfoliator Companion App on your iphone, and later log in to the website, you will see some of your information, but not all. Your progress photos, improvement notes and badges will be synced across both platforms. Your weekly appointment and your profile photo will not be synced.

9 AS A CONSULTANT, WHEN DOES MY CONTACT INFO APPEAR IN THE PROFILE SECTION OF THE APP FOR MY CUSTOMERS? All Preferred Customers will be able to see contact information for their Consultant, assuming that Consultant is subscribed to Pulse Pro. Contact information will not be visible for those logged in as Retail Customers and Consultants, and for PCs whose sponsor is not subscribed to Pulse Pro. Please note, contact information displayed will mirror contact information available on that Consultant s PWS. HOW DO I GET UPDATES TO THE iphone APP? From time to time, we may need to update the app. The itunes App Store will notify you when a new version is available. I M A RETAIL CUSTOMER AND DON T HAVE A USERNAME AND PASSWORD. HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE APP? If you do not have a Rodan + Fields username and password, you can create one quickly and easily. To create an account, download the MACRO Exfoliator App, and click the gray bar at the bottom that says Don't have a R+F Account? Click here to create an account, or contact your Consultant.

10 Clicking the link will take you to a page to set up your account. You will need to enter a desired username and password, along with your name, address, phone number and gender.
