1 ICE mobile FAQ February 2014 Page 1 I have an existing WebICE ID. How do I start using ICE mobile? On your iphone and ipod touch simply download the ICE mobile application from the Apple App store. For your ipad you should download ICE mobile HD from the Apple App store. On your Android device, download ICE mobile from the Market application. You can use your existing WebICE user ID and password to login to ICE mobile. From your Blackberry OS6 browser visit theice.com/icemobile. ICE mobile is free for WebICE users. I don't have a WebICE ID. How can I subscribe to ICE mobile? You must have a WebICE user ID in order to access ICE mobile. If you work for an existing ICE trading customer, please contact your ICE administrator to request WebICE and ICE mobile access. If you are uncertain of whom your ICE administrator is, please call the ICE 24 Hour helpdesk at If you are not currently an ICE trading customer but are interested in becoming one, please icemobile@theice.com and an ICE representative will respond to you as soon as possible. What data will I be able to access on ICE mobile? ICE Futures U.S., ICE Futures Europe, ICE Futures Canada and ICE OTC market data will all be available via ICE mobile. You will receive the same market data via ICE mobile that you currently receive via WebICE. Please note that only ICE Futures markets and cleared ICE OTC markets will be made available for Trading via ICE mobile. Does ICE mobile display real-time market data? Yes. All data provided by ICE mobile is real-time market data only. Is there a free or delayed data version of WebICE or ICE mobile? No, ICE does not offer free or delayed data version of WebICE or ICE mobile. I have an ISV ID with ICE access. Can I use ICE mobile? No, ICE mobile does not support ISV user IDs. You must have a WebICE user ID in order to use ICE mobile. Can I trade with ICE mobile? Yes, Trading is available for all ICE Futures markets and cleared ICE OTC markets via ICE mobile from your iphone, ipod touch, ipad, Android devices, and Blackberry Z10, Z30, Q10 and Porshe Design P9982. *Please note that you will not be able to trade or view your WebICE orders on ICE mobile until your company ICE Admin begins the process by sending an to iceuseradministration@theice.com stating what permission level should be granted for your usage of ICE mobile. By default, all new ICE mobile users are granted permission to View Prices Only and are not able to trade or view their WebICE orders/fills. What are the Permission Levels for ICE mobile? The Permission Levels for ICE mobile are as follows: 1. View Prices Only - This gives the user the ability to ONLY view market prices, news, and alerts on ICE mobile and is the default permission level. This permission level also gives the user the ability to see the ICE mobile Position Keeper if the user also has permission to use Position Keeper on WebICE. 2. View/Cancel Orders - This gives the user the ability to view market prices, news, alerts, Position Keeper and ALSO view their WebICE Orders and Fills on ICE mobile. Users with this permission level will also have the ability to Cancel their WebICE orders from within ICE mobile. 3. Trading - This gives the user the ability to view market prices, news, alerts, Position Keeper and also view their WebICE Orders and Fills on ICE mobile. Users with this permission level will also have the ability to Cancel their WebICE orders from within ICE mobile. Users with this permission level will ALSO have permission for Trading by being able to Place New Orders and also Edit and Cancel their ICE mobile orders. 4. Risk Manager - This gives the ability to see all of your company's orders and fills if you are a Risk Manager at your firm and have a Risk Manager login ID for WebICE. Just as on WebICE, Risk Managers on ICE mobile will not have the ability to cancel orders or trade. Please note that ICE mobile Risk Managers will only be able to view the orders and fills of users within your company who have Permission Level 2 or Level 3 on ICE mobile. Risk Managers will be able to view the positions of all WebICE users at a company through the ICE mobile Position Keeper.
2 ICE mobile FAQ February 2014 Page 2 If I have trading permission on WebICE does that automatically mean that I have trading permission on ICE mobile? No, a user can be granted different permission levels for ICE mobile usage other than what such user is granted for WebICE. For example, a user might have full trading permission on WebICE but only be granted permission to view market prices on ICE mobile. How can I get permission to Trade or view my WebICE orders/fills on ICE mobile? You will not be able to trade or view your WebICE orders on ICE mobile until your company ICE Admin begins the process by sending an to iceuseradministration@theice.com stating what permission level should be granted for your usage of ICE mobile. After our receipt of such from your company ICE Admin, someone from the ICE mobile team will follow-up in order to arrange for a call or meeting with your company ICE Admin to further explain the process in detail and arrange for a mutually agreed upon target roll-out date. To begin the process, the body of the from your company ICE Admin to iceuseradministration@theice.com should read as follows: Dear ICE User Admin. We would like to request a change in Permission Levels for ICE mobile usage for the WebICE user(s) listed down below. We understand that permission changes for ICE Mobile will NOT affect a user s permission levels for WebICE. We understand that the Permission Levels for ICE mobile are as follows: 1. View Prices Only - This gives the user the ability to ONLY view market prices, news, and alerts on ICE mobile. This permission level also gives the user the ability to see the ICE mobile Position Keeper if the user also has permission to use Position Keeper on WebICE. 2. View/Cancel Orders - This gives the user the ability to view market prices, news, alerts, Position Keeper and ALSO view their WebICE Orders and Fills on ICE mobile. Users with this permission level will also have the ability to Cancel their WebICE orders from within ICE mobile. 3. Trading - This gives the user the ability to view market prices, news, alerts, Position Keeper and also view their WebICE Orders and Fills on ICE mobile. Users with this permission level will also have the ability to Cancel their WebICE orders from within ICE mobile. Users with this permission level will ALSO have permission for Trading by being able to Place New Orders and also Edit their ICE mobile orders. 4. Risk Manager - This gives the ability to see all of your company's orders and fills if you are a Risk Manager at your firm and have a Risk Manager login ID for WebICE. Just as on WebICE, Risk Managers on ICE mobile will not have the ability to cancel orders or trade. Please note that ICE mobile Risk Managers will only be able to view the orders and fills of users within your company who have Permission Level 2 or Level 3 on ICE mobile. Risk Managers will be able to view the positions of all WebICE users at a company through the ICE mobile Position Keeper. We Confirm and Approve the Permission Level changes as shown below for ICE mobile for the following user(s): Company Last Name First Name WebICE User ID ICE mobile Permission Phone xxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx We understand that our Request for Permission changes will take the ICE time to process and to coordinate a mutually agreeable schedule for deployment.
3 ICE mobile FAQ February 2014 Page 3 Does the Position Keeper tab on ICE mobile display the same Position Keeper data that is available in WebICE? Yes, provided that you have access to the Position Keeper in WebICE, you will be able to see the same real-time position data and have the ability to choose the appropriate filters and grouping of your data. Does the My Orders tab on ICE mobile allow me to View, Edit, and Cancel my WebICE orders? Provided that the ICE Admin at your company has granted you permission for such functionality, you can View and Cancel your WebICE orders from within ICE mobile. Currently, you cannot Edit your WebICE orders from within ICE mobile. From the My Orders tab on ICE mobile you can also View, Edit, and Cancel your ICE mobile originated orders. Does the My Position tab on ICE mobile allow me to see my Real-time Positions and Real-time P&L? Yes, provided that you have been granted permission by your company ICE Admin, you will be able to see your Realtime Positions and Real-time P&L for both your WebICE orders and ICE mobile orders for that current trading session only. Real-time P&L is currently only supported by ICE mobile for ICE Futures contracts. Will my ICE mobile originated orders be able to be Viewed and Cancelled from within WebICE? Yes, any orders that you place from ICE mobile will be able to be Viewed and Cancelled from within WebICE. Please note that you will only be able to View and Cancel ICE mobile orders from within WebICE and not Edit them. ICE mobile originated orders can be Edited from within ICE mobile only. Can I specify which Accounts that I am able to place orders on behalf of from within ICE mobile? Yes, the powerful risk management features of ICE mobile allows your firm the capability to specify which Accounts it would like to enable for Trading from within ICE mobile. You will still be able to see all of the orders from all of the Accounts in your My Orders and My Position tabs, but when you go to place a new order from within ICE mobile you will only be shown those Accounts that you have permissioned for Trading. As a default, all of your Accounts will be not be permissioned for Trading once Trading level permissions are granted. Instead, your company ICE Admin will need to go into the ICE Credit Management application and click on the Mobile Access checkbox next to the Account ID for each Account that they would like to enable for Mobile trading. Can I create new trading Accounts for use with ICE mobile that have reduced trading limits for mobile trading? Yes, you can create new Accounts for use with ICE mobile that have reduced trading limits than those Accounts that have been permissioned for desktop trading. You can then have your company ICE Admin request that only those new mobile Accounts be permissioned for Trading from within ICE mobile as described above. Please note that these new accounts will also be made available for trading from within WebICE. Can I have different trading limits for my Accounts on ICE mobile then I have for those same accounts on WebICE? No, the trading limits for any Account are the same regardless of which platform orders are being placed from. All orders affect the trading limits for such Account in the exact same way. Can I identify my ICE mobile originated orders from my WebICE originated orders? Yes, users can identify ICE mobile originated orders from WebICE originated orders. There is a designated column within ICE's deal reports signifying the order origin. Traders can also see this within their WebICE Orders tab.
4 ICE mobile FAQ February 2014 Page 4 Can Risk Managers at my company utilize ICE mobile to view all of the WebICE and ICE mobile Orders and Fills for each of the traders at my firm? Yes, your company ICE Admin can request that users with a Risk Manager WebICE ID be granted permission from within ICE mobile to view all of your firms orders/fills/positions along with real-time P&L. When viewing the My Orders and My Position tabs, permissioned users will be able to see real-time, company-wide order and fill information displayed in summary form and also by specific trader with drill down capabilities. Please note that ICE mobile Risk Managers will only be able to view the orders and fills of users within your company who have Permission Level 2 or Level 3 on ICE mobile. Risk Managers will be able to view the positions of all WebICE users at a company through the ICE mobile Position Keeper. Will I see all of my WebICE orders on ICE mobile if I have Permission Level 2 or 3? Users with Permission Level 2 or 3 will see the majority of orders placed via WebICE on ICE mobile. The chart below displays WebICE order types currently supported on ICE mobile. Those order types can be viewed and cancelled by users with Permission Level 2 or 3. Order Type Limit Stop Stop Limit Market* Reserve Quantity Option RFQ RFC UPS Held* Inactive* ICE Maker* Formula Trader* Bilateral ICE mobile Supports Time In Force Day GTC Fill & Kill *Market Orders- ICE mobile does not support floating market orders but filled or partially filled market orders will appear under My Orders & My Position. *Held & Inactive Orders-ICE mobile will show Held and Inactive orders as Cancelled with the price and quantity that was in effect when the order was held or cancelled. *ICE Maker & Formula Trader- ICE mobile does not differentiate these orders with the linked symbol as WebICE does.
5 ICE mobile FAQ February 2014 Page 5 Can anyone pick up my mobile device and place an order via ICE mobile if I am permissioned to trade? No, ICE mobile requires a unique user PIN Code be entered by the user prior to entering or modifying any order. This PIN Code is not stored anywhere on the users mobile device and is an additional level of security provided by ICE mobile. In addition to entering a PIN Code on all orders, additional security is provided at login time with password protection. *Please note that the ICE would also suggest that users set the timeout feature on their mobile device to require a password upon waking. Is there an ipad version of ICE mobile? Yes, an ipad version is available from the Apple App Store by downloading ICE mobile HD. Will my existing iphone, ipod touch and ipad work with ICE mobile? ICE mobile will run on a variety of Apple mobile device models. ICE supports the following devices (*ios 7 recommended and soon required): iphone: 4 with 32GB, 4s with 32GB, 5 with 32GB, 5c with 32 GB, 5s with 32GB ipad: 32/64GB WiFi and WiFi+3G, ipad Mini, ipad Air ipod touch: 4th and 5th generation with 32/64GB Will I be able to use ICE mobile on my iphone, ipod touch, and ipad? Yes, you can login with your WebICE id on your iphone, ipod touch, and ipad; however, you cannot login with your WebICE id on your ipod touch if you are already logged in with that same WebICE ID on your iphone and vice versa. You can log in simultaneously on your iphone (or ipod touch), ipad, Android, and Blackberry devices while being logged into WebICE at the same time. Will logging into ICE mobile disconnect my WebICE session? No, logging into ICE mobile will not disconnect your WebICE session. You may use WebICE and your ICE Mobile device simultaneously. What data plan do I need to subscribe to with my wireless provider? ICE recommends using WiFi connections whenever possible as the usage on a WiFi network will not count against your standard data rate plan. While ICE Mobile is optimized to use a minimal amount of bandwidth, we recommend that you check your usage with your wireless provider regularly to ensure you do not incur any overage fees. Can I subscribe to data from other exchanges? Not currently. Can I subscribe to equities data? Not currently. Is there an Android version of ICE mobile? Yes, there is a version of ICE mobile for your Android devices. Simply go the Market application on your Android and download ICE mobile. You can login immediately using your existing WebICE user ID and password. Does ICE mobile run on a Blackberry or other mobile device? Yes, there is a native application available for Blackberry Z10, Z30, Q10 and Porsche Design P9982. Simply download the app from Blackberry World and login using your WebICE username and Password. For users with devices running BlackBerry s OS6 operating system there is the Blackberry Beta version. From your Blackberry OS6 browser please visit theice.com/icemobile. Trading and Order management is currently not available at this time for older Blackberrys. Please note that ICE mobile is also available in view only price mode for the Blackberry playbook, Windows devices as well as HP's TouchPad by visiting theice.com/icemobile.
