2 78 Val Verde County Data June 2003 Area Information Del Rio, the County Seat of Val Verde County, is located on US Highway 90 and US Highway 277. A throughway to Mexico s Ciudad Acuña, home to over seventy factories and a gateway to Saltillo and Monclova. Del Rio has a thriving and growing International Airport the Industrial Park. The Industrial Park is strategic location directly to the west of the Airport with many facilities to support commercial cargo. Our County Our County of Val Verde has a government based on a County Judge and four County Commissioners. Our City Our City Of Del Rio has a government based on a Mayor and Six City Council members.
