Although the lifesafety portion of the incident was contained within minutes by first responders, the university mounted a robust crisis management operation following the incident. UCSB activated its Emergency Operations Center, a UCSB call center and a student services operation. Four days after the incident, UCSB also planned and implemented a memorial service attended by more than 20,000 people. Speaker: James Caesar, Campus Emergency Manager, UC Santa Barbara UFit: Targeted Wellness at UC Davis Health Systems Learn about UCDHS innovative program to improve health and wellness for employees challenged with musculoskeletal or chronic conditions.
