There is a flat-fee pricing structure for the repair and reconditioning of many products. Adept Remanufacturing Services (Overhaul Your Robot) Adept will remanufacture your robot by performing a complete teardown and cleaning, replacing all wear and failed components with new parts, rebuilding and repainting the robot, and ensuring that the robot successfully passes the complete series of factory performance tests. The remanufactured robot or mechanism includes a full factory warranty (2-years parts and 1-year service). Exchange and rotation programs are available. Rush services are available with an additional 10% surcharge. 2 AdeptModules and SmartModules Adept will repair your linear module by replacing all wear and failed components such as motors, sensors, belts, pulleys, drive couplings, seal belts, and rollers. Linear bearings and ball screws are not replaceable (purchase complete replacement module). Charges are quoted on a time-and-materials basis at the standard factory labor rate. There will be a minimum 4-hour evaluation fee for modules that are determined to be unrepairable. Remanufactured Robot Products (Purchase a Factory-Certified Rebuilt Robot) Adept remanufactures preowned robots by performing a complete teardown and cleaning, replacing all wear and failed components with new parts, rebuilding and repainting the robot, and ensuring that the robot successfully passes the complete series of factory performance tests. These standard bundles include teach pendants, standard length robot-to-controller cables, and AdeptWindows software and controller licenses. Additional hardware and software options are available. 6 Extended Parts and Service Warranties Adept s extended parts warranties include the cost of replacement parts using new or remanufactured components and include all expedited freight charges (overnight service to U.S. destinations and priority service to International destinations). Adept s extended service warranties include the cost of all labor, travel, and expenses. Extended warranties must be purchased for all eligible systems in a specific facility. Adept reserves the right to determine which systems qualify for extended warranty coverage.
