1 From: Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada on behalf of Stuart Watson Sent: Thursday, July 12, :25 PM To: Subject: Academic Calendar - Survey Results Attachments: July2007SpotSurveyCalendars.doc Hello again, folks: Wow! I received responses from 50 institutions. Thank you for taking part in my quick survey. I've attached a Word file that provides a bit more detail, but in general the conclusions are:. Virtually all institutions that responded (98%) produce online versions of their calendar. Three-quarters (75%) still produce printed versions of their calendar. Most institutions have greatly reduced the number of printed copies. Just over one-quarter (28%) produce ONLY an online version of their calendar. Institutions that produce calendars "online ONLY" produce a downloadable PDF version for those who want to print off pages (particularly for faculty and staff who provide academic advice in Reg. Office and in the departments.) Thanks again for your quick responses. Cheers//Stu// -----Original Message----- From: Stuart Watson [mailto:watsons5@utm.utoronto.ca] Sent: Wednesday, July 11, :22 PM To: 'arucc@listserv.unb.ca' Subject: Academic Calendar Hi folks: A quick question (or two...actually, five): Do you still provide a printed version of your academic calendar? Do you provide a version of your calendar on-line? Do you do both? Do you charge for your printed calendar? If so, how much? I'll summarize responses for those who are interested. Thanks muchly. Cheers//Stu// Stuart Watson Manager, Communications & Webmaster Office of the Registrar Page: 1
