In-Person: The Application form and Prospectus can be directly obtained in-person either from the University office or Zonal Centres or from the Special Education Programme Study Centres, by way of Cash or Demand Draft for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of Tamil Nadu Open University payable at Chennai. b. By Post: Those who wish to obtain the Application form and Prospectus by post should send a Demand Draft for Rs.550/- drawn in favour of Tamil Nadu Open University payable at Chennai to The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Open University, No.577, Anna Salai, Saidapet, Chennai-15. 2 1. B.Ed.SE MR 2. B.Ed. SE HI 3. B.Ed.SE VI 3. Eligibility Should have passed the U.G. Degree Examination in the stream or Candidates who have direct U.G. degree without +2 qualification / post-graduate degrees without a U.G degree are not eligible. P.G. Degree (5 year Integrated Course) under or pattern shall be considered for admission. But the marks obtained by the candidate in the first three years (major and allied) only taken into account for admission to the B.Ed.SE Degree Course. The candidates qualified in PG Degree and secured 50% of marks with the same major subjects in UG Degree, but not fulfilling the minimum percentage of marks required in UG Degree as per community/category-wise will be eligible to apply. The candidates who have the following degrees also eligible U.G P.G Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, Geography, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Geo-Physics, Bio-Physics, Electronics, Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Plant-Biology, Plant Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Micro- Biology, Applied Geography, Information Technology, Computer Application Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture with 50% of marks (irrespective of their UG marks). Post Graduate candidates who have interdisciplinary subjects which are being declared equivalent by the respective University can also apply. Candidates with the following marks in the Bachelor s Degree are eligible for admission to the course other than Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture subjects for which PG qualification is mandatory.
