5 Program Mission To improve outcomes for children and families by providing TTA that develops and enhances Family Drug Courts. 9 OJJDP Goals To assess and address the national TTA needs of FDCs To develop, implement and enhance TTA materials and activities To build FDC capacity To enhance the knowledge and skills of FDC professionals 10 5
6 Introduction of the FDC Learning Academy The Online Learning Academy is a series of web-based based trainings, or webinars, over the course of a 16-month period. 9 Description of CAM SAMHSA is funding up to 12 existing FDCs nationally in an effort to enhance services to COSA involved in FDCs. Focus is on children Must be an existing FDC with demonstrated history of success 4 year grant Must demonstrate outcomes (performance measures) 17 Goal Use a variety of TA strategies and venues to improve CAM Grantees practice, procedures and policies leading to improved outcomes for families in the child welfare and family court systems. 18 9
10 Objectives 1. Implement a data collection, measurement and analysis system to report on child, adult and family performance indicators 2. Provide a variety of quality TA services to CAM grantees that result in improved service delivery for families; and 3.
