New features are free to existing customers who upgrade to v8.0 Name Detailed Description Benefit Creation of Material Component Assignments Based on Planning in Primavera Optimization of Memory Utilization and Performance Upward compatibility with Primavera P6 The previous Inspire functionality (v7.0) allows for the visualization of SAP Material assignments to be displayed in Primavera. The new functionality specified here now allows for bi-directional functionality. Users would be able to assign material resources in Primavera P6 that would ultimately flow into and be procured through SAP Materials Management functionality With the technical enhancements the standard Inspire installation can be improved to handle large Shutdown/Turnaround scenarios more efficiently and allow more parallel synchronizations The development and QA activities of this version ensures upward compatibility with the new version of Oracle Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management release 8. This provides continued interoperability between Primavera P6 and SAP ERP.
