Educational aims of the Programme The MSc in Human Resource Management develops students knowledge and skills in the evaluation, discussion and analysis of issues in the human resource management sector. Students learn how managers are best able to utilise human resources to create added value for customers and to secure a competitive advantage for their organisation. 19. Programme learning outcomes the programme provides opportunities for students to develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding, skills, qualities and other attributes in the following areas: Knowledge and Understanding Human resource management strategies for firms and international organisations; Training and development strategies for individuals and firms, principals for accounting and finance; industrial relations and employment relations. Skills and other attributes - Intellectual / cognitive skills Develop ability and skills to collect qualitative and quantitative data necessary to effectively manage people in organisations; understanding the dynamic and interrelated nature of human resource management strategy and business strategies, and the impact on stakeholders.
