1 Hazlehead Course 2 Hole-By-Hole Hole 1- Pinewood You start your round looking uphill at the short 1st. A bunker to the left guards the green and trees to the right are a problem but a good sized playing surface waits at the top with a ridged back that helps catch any shots too long. Hole 2- Well Again playing slightly uphill the second sees you aiming at the green at the top. A bunker half way up will catch loose tee shots to the right. Bunkers either side of the green hamper your approach so be wary. Hole 3- Hollow The tee is positioned on a platform. Your tee shot cuts across the 18th so be on the lookout as you head towards the green which is situated at the foot of the hole. Bunkers either side look after the green and any wayward shots to the left may go over the wall onto the 9-hole course. Hole 4- Gramps View With a green that sits out of sight you play your tee shot blindly over a hill. Once over the hole flattens out as you approach the green which is surrounded by woodland. A bunker to both sides must be considered but an accurate shot will see you fine.

2 Hole 5- Denwood Crossing the road to the next hole, the view from the tee sees you looking down into a valley and the green. Trees to the left and the 6th to the right means the only place you want to hit it is flush down the fairway. The green is reachable in two and has a forgiving approach Hole 6- Denhead Playing parallel to the 5th, this sees you playing along a flat fairway before approaching the elevated green. This hole is great to attack and can be challenging as you look to land safely on the green. Two bunkers at the front must be taken on. Hole 7- Plateau The short 7th has a two tier green so pin position will determine how you approach. A couple of small trees to the left coupled with a big bunker will punish anything that goes too far left. A small trap to the right will take anything that goes that way. Hole 8- Dikeside The green is tucked away round the corner to the right. A wide fairway will accommodate your tee shot. As you aim for the green a tree stands in front of the green to the left and a large bunker at the back right will catch anything that goes too far, a smaller one at the front left will take anything short.

3 Hole 9- Rowans From the tee a slightly downhill hole there are trees at the front on the fairway and a small bunker to the right on the fairway. As you approach the green bunkers either side of it coupled with two more at the back mean this green is surrounded! Hole 10- Happy Joe A good par 3, a deep bunker to the front right will have to be avoided. Another one sits off the back of the green and one to the left. A well placed shot will be required. Hole 11- Hillhead A right bending dog legged hole. As you take your second shot it sees you aiming uphill. There is one bunker in the middle left of fairway, one short to the left as you approach and one big one wrapped around the side of the green on left. A very tricky hole to negotiate Hole 12- Devils Elbow The longest hole on the course, as you stand on the tee you look down into a valley, you will need to hit long of this. The green is out of sight to the right. As you approach there are two bunkers green side protecting it, there is a big putting surface to aim for if you can avoid the traps.

4 Hole 13- Hayfield A par 3, this two tier green will let the pin position determine your club selection. A bunker just off of the green to the right and one further up to the left will pick up anything short and will leave you with difficulty saving your par on the hole. Hole 14- Pylons A left bending dog legged hole, aim left from the tee to make your second shot closer to the pin, but not to far as trees and a wall guard the left. Two bunkers left and right of the green protect it. Hole 15- The Firs From the tee, you have a wide fairway to aim for, trees and rough to the right should be avoided. There are two bunkers to the left as you approach. Go long and you should be fine but if you are short then you could be in a spot of bother. Hole 16- Westwood The last par 3 of the round, a bunker to the left and right of the green guards it but this hole offers an excellent birdie opportunity if you hit it right off of the tee.

5 Hole 17- South View A hidden green sees you aiming at the raised embankment. A pole will guide you towards the green for the second shot. The terrain of this hole ebbs and flows so will keep you on your toes as the slope towards the green will help the ball carry. A bunker sits to the right. Hole 18- Nursery An elevated tee sees you looking down to the green. The fairway is lined by trees either side and runs parallel to the 2nd. Two bunkers at the right half way down will give you something to think about. A fun way to end the round, you get the chance to unleash your driver and watch the ball soar down the fairway.
