3 Scope of Work refreshtek is able to provide disposal and recycling services that can be customized to your own corporate needs. Process typically works as follows: At a pre-arranged, date and time, refreshtek will schedule a collection of goods (including handling). Upon arrival to our Markham facility, refreshtek will triage the goods and separate items considered for resale from those delegated for electronic waste. Items that are considered for resale, will be inspected and tested to determine vintage, specifications and cosmetic value. refreshtek s goal in this process is to find reusable life and value in goods. Hard disk drives contained in systems will be digitally cleansed using a licensed product called WipeDrive. This is a DoD approved product and data will be eradicated via a minium 3 pass wipe and up to a 9 pass wipe if requested. This is at no additional ddii cost. Hard disk drives contained in systems destined for recycling will be removed and physically shredded to maintain data security and integrity Goods that are deemed reusable will be assessed a fair market value. At the discretion of our client, any hard drives will either be wiped or destroyed for reusable items.

All of our electronic waste material is mandated to be processed and recycled to provincial and federal standards. This accreditation ensures that any WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) does not go into our country s landfills. Please find an easy to complete trade-in form included.
