4 APPLICATION DOMAINS Assisted Living. Enhanced care for senior people in assisted living facilities Nursing Care Homes. In nursing facilities or palliative care within hospitals Long-term care facilities. For seniors with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer s HOW ONALL WORKS (1) Senior wears a device. A small bracelet, a belt or a smartphone allows the senior to move freely while continually sends to onall information about their condition and location. (2) A risky event occurs OR a senior calls for help. Abnormal heart beats, falls, risk of falls or wrong locations are automatically detected but the senior can actively call for help at any time just by pressing a button. (3) Nearest caregivers are automatically called. onall automatically calls and provides information about the senior in risk, the location and the reason for the alert to caregivers carrying smartphones. (4) Caregivers help the senior. In order to acknowledge an alarm, the caregiver needs to either use a workstation, or physically be next to the senior. This is determined by either the use of NFC tags, or by using our proprietary RTLS system. (5) Automatic reports describe the service quality. Management can evaluate performance and ensure the best service quality for their seniors.

5 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION SYSTEM OVERVIEW The onall core platform includes the following components: onall software application Hardware sensors for seniors and staff Hardware alarm displays (optional) The local hardware Wi-Fi network infrastructure and servers (reused, if available) ALARMS Fixed/Mobile Call Button. Senior can call the nearest caregiver by pressing a button on a wearable device. onall fixed/mobile call system automatically finds and calls the nearest caregiver using either the existing fixed nurse call system buttons or the wearable call button. Automatic Fall Detection. Any fall is automatically detected when wearing the chest strap, belt clip device or smartphone. Senior falls are detected by each device based on the movement patterns before and after a shock. onall detects greater than 95% of all senior falls, based on internal studies. If the senior is able to press, a wearable call button is also provided as a fallback. We feel like the fall detection is important, even though the button is present, because the elderly rarely use the panic button under these scenarios due to disorientation.

6 Fall Prevention. Generates automatic alerts on motions that may result in a fall, namely getting up from a bed or from a chair. This feature is mainly useful for people recovering from an impairing event, such as a stroke. onall motion detection is designed for seniors with low mobility that have a high fall risk and is not intended for independent seniors. Heart Rate Monitoring. This feature enables that when the senior is wearing a chest-strap with heart rate monitoring enabled the beats per minute can be recorded every 30 minutes for later visualization. If, at any time, the values go over or below a given threshold, an alarm gets triggered. ABOUT SENIOR PERSONALIZATION Seniors are not homogenous and their care needs often need to be customized during their plan of care assessments. onall supports this reality by allowing the caregiver staff to customize senior needs for each senior individually. All of these features can be configured so that they are only active within a given schedule. For seniors with fall risk and mobility issues, it is possible to customize fall detection sensitivity and which senior daily living movements should alert to potentially prevent a fall. For seniors with cognitive diseases, is it possible to customize which areas the senior is prohibited to enter (such as bedrooms not their own) or areas they are not allowed to leave without generating an alarm and can disable some functionalities such as pressing the wearable call button. For seniors with potential heart conditions, is it possible to customize the heart rate ranges that should generate an alert. ALERTS onall can also trigger operational alerts that can be either related with senior device management, caregiver device management, network management, system management or senior escorts. The list of alerts usually configured are: Senior removed a sensor Lack of health professionals on a floor Device out of battery Senior escorts taking too long Battery level status Device unreachable Server or network connectivity issues

7 CAREGIVER SYSTEM Caregivers carry smartphones that alert them of the senior alarms, and enables them to document other events, or register vital signs. After going near the senior, the caregiver can then acknowledge the alarms. Optionally installed Alarm TV displays can also be shown in the facility. Location of seniors and professionals. Locations are updated in near real time and wander alarms for seniors with dementia are available with scheduling abilities. onall can provide location accuracy per division, placement and type of access points. The areas defined / configured are usually rooms, wings or floors per facility, depending on the needs. Location based workflows. Only caregivers that are on the same wing or floor with the senior are initially notified of all alarms. Ensure service level response by the right caregiver. Low priority alarms are routed only to nearby auxiliary staff, while high priority are routed to nurses and auxiliaries. If an alarm is not acknowledged within a defined service level agreement to the seniors, the alert is escalated to other staff members or wings of the facility, ultimately informing the administration. Request for help. Staff members can quickly "request" help from other staff members nearby by shaking their device. Senior escort. Caregivers can "escort" seniors without generating any kind of alarm. Event documentation. Each event and response is automatically recorded and associated to the respective senior. When available or at shift change, the caregivers can more thoroughly document the events that occurred during the day and classify the events or add any new events that the system did not automatically record. This is especially important when classifying potentially serious events such as falls. Event classification categories and defaults can be defined by each facility during the installation and configuration process and then be used as presets for quicker documentation. ALARM DISPLAY onall displays a prioritized and easily visible list of alarms occurring within the wing on T.V. screens powered by small computers installed in each wing. Placement and installation of these screens are done in conjunction with local infrastructure staff for an optimal placement. For senior privacy reasons, a senior number or bed number is usually used instead of names since these alarm screens are often in public places. The alarm displays on the caregiver badges and caregiver web application provide full senior details. WELLNESS SIGNS RECORDING & CHARTING Automatically records heart rate and activity values every 30 minutes (configurable), for seniors wearing chest straps. Manually enter vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature can be recorded using a mobile phone / device web browser application, to facilitate in the daily reporting needs of each senior. View vital signs trend of the values in the chart over time within the caregiver web portal and document any event. 8 KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Notification & Documentation. Caregivers carry regular smartphones that provide details on alarms, such as the current location on a map of the alarm triggered, the type of alarm, etc. and enables the caregiver to document the event, or enter vital signs data. The onall database records valuable information to allow the facility and care managers to have a factual view into the operations of their facility. Example indicators that are reported are: Number of falls detected (per area) Number of wander alerts Response time to the senior calls (measured against determined service level agreements) Response time to serious events such as falls or heart Number of alarm escalations were required outside of original wing Total number and distribution of the type of events that occur in the facility KPIs. Records all events and generate reports that help analyze and improve performance. SYSTEM INTEGRATION Due to regulatory requirements, alarms acknowledgement of the fixed nurse call systems must be acknowledged by the nurse call systems. During the installation and customization process, the onall professional services team will perform an integration with your facilities nurse call system. In that sense, onall can be integrated with: Existing nurse call system, so all alerts are escalated and reported using onall (recommended). Any improvements that may be required will also benefit your existing applications and needs, so you only need to maintain one wireless infrastructure as opposed to competing solutions that require independent networks. During the planning and installation process, our professional services teams confirm that total facility coverage and location placement is sufficient to track the location of each person. If there are coverage or location gaps, our teams can either suggest moving the existing routers to improve performance or purchase additional routers to ensure reliable performance.
