2 Key concepts The Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation track is designed for you who want to work with business development and innovation in established businesses You will learn how opportunities for renewal and innovation are identified, developed, organised and implemented in the organisation A key component of the track is the Internship (30 credits) in which you work as a member of a host organisation running a project to renew and innovate within the established business ARE YOU THE PERFECT FIT? 3 Key concepts/overview THE CORPORATE ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION TRACK PREPARES YOU FOR A FUTURE CAREER WORKING AS AN EMPLOYEE OR AS A CONSULTANT WITH INNOVATIVE IDEAS AND PROJECTS IN ESTABLISHED BUSINESSES. The Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation track is designed for you who want to work with business development and innovation in established businesses. You will learn how opportunities for renewal and innovation are identified, developed, organised and implemented in the organisation. The programme consists of four courses that guide you through the process: Corporate entrepreneurship Organizing for innovation and entrepreneurship Innovation management and open innovation Project and research methods for entrepreneurship During the programme you will gain practical experience as an intern at a progressive company. At the company you will be engaged in a business development project together with your mentor and the current staff. The programme includes courses covering different aspects of corporate entrepreneurship and innovation management. A key component of the programme is the Internship (30 credits) in which you work as a member of a host organisation running a project to renew and innovate within the established business. To support your actions you will first have acquired a thorough grounding in theories related to entrepreneurship and innovation in established companies. Our programmes are designed to increase your ability to solve complex problems and strengthen your decision-making skills. The courses are based on state-of-the-art research in each particular field. Our pedagogy is based on the belief that you need practice to learn. However, you also need to reflect on your practice, and learn from available theories in the field. This is why you will find our programme in entrepreneurship to embrace action without compromising the valuable learning that comes from theory.

5 Career prospects Within this track you will acquire skills useful in positions such as a project manager or a consultant dealing with innovative ideas and projects in established businesses and organisations. Knowledge of corporate entrepreneurship and innovation processes are thus valuable assets if you aim for a career in an established corporation. The new competitive landscape makes it essential for existing companies to renew and develop. The knowledge and skills that follow from the experience and learning from the programme are much sought after by basically any organisation. The Sten K. 6 Admission requirements REQUIRED BACHELOR DEGREE An undergraduate degree (BA/BSc). ENGLISH PROFICIENCY Strong English language communication skills are crucial to gain the full benefit of the programmes we offer. However, meeting the minimum English language test requirements, does not guarantee admission. A majority of students accepted to this programme submit test scores corresponding to IELTS band 7.0. SELECTION CRITERIA Based on previous university/college studies, CV and Statement of Purpose. You are also welcome to include additional supporting documents you would like us to take into consideration when evaluating your qualifications, e.g. Letters of Recommendation. WHAT ARE OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS? We require what is called English 6 (advanced level) language proficiency, which can be demonstrated in various ways. We prefer candidates to take the IELTS test where possible. We accept the following tests and minimum scores: IELTS score of 6.5 (with no section less than 5.5) TOEFL paper-based score of 4.5 (scale 1-6) in written test and a total score of 575 TOEFL internet based score of 20 (scale 0-30) in written test and a total score of 90

7 Fees and funding There are no application or tuition fees for citizens of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland. For non-eu/eea citizens the tuition fee is SEK 120,000 per year (approximately 13,170 per year). Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are generally required to pay application and tuition fees. There are some exceptions to this general rule. For the full list of exemptions, please refer to official information from University Admissions in Sweden. 9 Lund Learning Model THE SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT ADOPTS A STUDENT-CENTRED APPROACH TO TEACHING AND LEAR- NING. The aim is to increase students capacity for advanced problem solving, resulting in better decision-making abilities. Critical thinking and freedom of mind are stimulated in all activities - in seminars and workshops students analyse and present solutions to given problems and assignments. Theoretical concepts are tested in practical situations, and practical experiences are employed to develop and enrich theory. Students experience an open, informal study environment, with teachers and students on a first-name basis. Teaching is often done in small groups, which encourages dialogue and collaboration and teachers are accessible outside lecture hours. The educational methods used case methodology, team-building exercises, simulations, reality-based learning, learning portfolios, conceptual models, degree projects and the preparation of reports combine to enable our students to develop a range of proficiencies which serve them well in their future careers.
