Ms. Kenney Baden has been involved in numerous high profile cases including former NBA basketball player Jayson Williams, Phil Spector and Casey Anthony. She is an active member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and has appeared as a legal guest commentator on various television networks. Michael Baden, MD Former Chief Medical Examiner of New York City Fox News Contributor for Forensic Science Dr. Michael Baden is a board-certified, forensic pathologist. He was chairman of the Forensic Pathology Panel of the US Congress Select Committee on Assassinations that investigated the deaths of President John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. Baden has been involved as an expert in forensic pathology in many cases and trials of international interest including: Tsar Nicolas, Claus Von Bulow, Marlon Brando s son, O.J. Simpson, Medgar Evers, Kobe Bryant, Robert Blake, the Twin Towers terrorist bombing and countless others. Stephen Cina, MD, FACP Cook County Medical Examiner Dr. Stephen J. Cina has 20 years of forensic autopsy experience. Prior to becoming the Chief Medical Examiner of Cook County, he served as the Deputy Chief Medical Examiner of Broward County (Fort Lauderdale), Florida and on staff at the University of Miami School of Medicine. As a board-certified anatomic and forensic pathologist, Dr. Cina has authored over 100 scientific publications and book chapters and serves as the Forensic Pathology section editor for emedicine. He also serves as a forensic consultant on medicolegal death cases. Bryan Kastelic Special Agent, Division of Criminal Investigation, State of Wisconsin Bryan Kastelic currently serves as a Special Agent at the Department of Justice and a Unified Tactical Trainer. Prior to his work with the State of Wisconsin, he was a Narcotics Investigator with the Brown County Sheriff s Department. Henry Lee, PhD Distinguished Chair Professor, University New Haven, Founder, Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science, Former Commissioner, Connecticut State Police Dr. Henry Lee is a legendary investigator, known for finding the tiniest clues. Over the past 40 years Dr. Lee has assisted in the investigations of more than 6,000 cases, including war crimes in Bosnia and Croatia, the suicide of President Clinton s former White House attorney Vince Foster, O.J. Simpson, Kobe Bryant, Casey Anthony, the review of the JFK assassination, and the death of JonBenét Ramsey.

3 Joe Navarro, MA, FBI (ret.) President, JNForensics.com For 25 years, Joe Navarro worked with the FBI, both as an agent and supervisor in the areas of counterintelligence and counterterrorism. He is a founding member of the FBI s Behavioral Analysis Program and is a world renowned expert on the forensic use of nonverbal communication. Mr. Navarro is the author of 11 books and has appeared on all major networks including Crossfire with Chris Matthews. Mr. Navarro continues to lecture throughout the world on nonverbal communications and is a visiting lecturer at the Harvard Business School. Werner Spitz, MD Consultant, Forensic Pathology and Toxicology Former Chief Medical Examiner, Wayne and Macomb Counties, Michigan Professor of Pathology, Wayne State University School of Medicine Adjunct Professor of Toxicology, University of Windsor, Canada Dr. Spitz is the author of over 90 scientific publications, author and editor of the authoritative and celebrated textbook Medicolegal Investigation of Death. He served on the House Committee on Assassinations, investigating the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Spitz has served as an expert in many national cases including the California Night Stalker, Mary Jo Koepeckne, JonBennet Ramsey and O.J. Simpson. T. Paulette Sutton, MS, MT (ASC) CLS Associate Professor, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, University of TN Health Sciences Center Ms. Sutton is a private consultant in the field of bloodstain pattern analysis and a Distinguished Member of IABPA. She entered private practice after a career as the Assistant Director of Forensic Services and Director of Investigations for the Division of Forensic Pathology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis. In 1998, Ms. Sutton was certified by Professor MacDonell and the Institute on the Physical Significance of Human Bloodstain Evidence. Honors include the Lecturer of Merit Award and Distinguished Faculty Award from the National College of District Attorney and Outstanding Service Award from the FBI. Steven A. Symes, PhD, DABFA Associate Professor, Applied Forensic Sciences and Anthropology, Department of Applied Forensic Sciences, Mercyhurst University, Eric, PA Dr. Symes is a US forensic anthropologist best known for his expertise in interpreting trauma to bone and a leading authority on saw and knife mark analysis. A sought-after consultant in criminal cases, his specialty in criminal dismemberment and mutilation has led to consultation on serial homicides and other criminal cases around the US and the world. Dr. Symes s research includes human skeletal biology and trauma analysis with an emphasis on forensic tool marks and interpretation of fracture patterns in bone, saw and knife marks in cases of violent death, blunt force, ballistic, burn and healing bone trauma. He is the author of over 50 publications and has earned the Thomas Dale Stewart Award for lifetime achievement by the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Dr. Symes is certified by the American Board of Forensic Anthropology and is an associate professor at Mercyhurst Archaeological Institute at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA.

4 Target Audience This program provides valuable training for any individual involved with death investigations: homicide investigators, criminalists, emergency medical service providers, evidence technicians, attorneys, prosecutors, medical examiners, coroners, traffic accident investigators, insurance adjusters, forensic nurses, clinical legal nurse consultants, private investigators and criminal justice professionals.
