For years we have been good friends and productive coworkers in an award-winning German game studio. Now we decided to start our very own company. 3 Alex became interested in games when he was eight years old. As a young adult he decided to turn his hobby into a career. He finally joined the industry after he finished his Game Design studies at the Games Academy in Berlin. For almost five years he has been working with Daedalic Entertainment on many award-winning games such as The Deponia trilogy. Alex has a broad knowledge in the fields of design and development of video games and is familiar with the highs and lows during that process. Malte is currently responsible for our finance and accounting department and takes care of management. His real passion, however, is music. When he isn t busy crunching numbers he spends his time composing soundtracks for our games. He started his career with creating music for a film in At that time he was still studying musicology and political science with focus on economy at the university of Goettingen. Because he has been a passionate gamer ever since he was a kid, he has always been attracted to video game music and thus changed his focus to scoring for video games. Malte has mastered several musical styles from classical to ethnic music and arrangements from chiptune to epic orchestration. He plays various instruments, always pushes himself to the limits and is constantly trying to extend his musical knowledge.

4 Kevin has always had a passion for computers and video games. When he was twelve years old, he taught himself how to make websites and started creating video games. First he used rpgmaker to implement his ideas of perfect video games. But soon he realised that working with such tools is too constraining, so he started learning to progam with C and C++. After he had completed his apprenticeship at Deutsche Telekom AG, he began to study computer science, with a focus on video game engineering. During that time he experimented with several other technologies and programming languages. He was able to gain expierence and build a vast variety of knowledge. In 2011 he started an internship at Daedalic Entertainment and quickly Kevin became the lead programmer and scripter for the award-winning game The Night of the Rabbit. After that he worked as a freelancer on several projects. He mostly spends his free time working on his own ideas, always keeping in mind to fulfill his visions of perfect video games. Heiner has been dreaming of creating his own video games since he was a kid. At the age of twelve he started to teach himself programming in BASIC and quickly progressed to creating small games using C and SDL. After school, he decided to become a research mathematician and spent the next seven years studying mathematics and computer science at the universities of Bielefeld and Muenster. When he graduated in 2011, however, his focus had shifted to his old passion again. He started his career in the games industry at Daedalic Entertainment and, over the years, worked on many of that studio s award-winning games.
