1 EASY GAME DESIGN ROOM: C102 & C126 BIOGRAPHIES Jared W. Howdy, my name is Jared. I enjoy neat things like making websites and games, and I attend SWCTA for the latter. I ve worked on the design and development team for websites in the past, as well as running my own website. I do these things for fun more than anything. Having the opportunity to do these things in school definitely gives me an incentive to work harder. Brandon Hey everybody, I m Brandon. I code games, make 3D models, and whatever else I want. I was born in Maui and I moved to Vegas when I was four. Get to know me, I m amazing. Anthea My name is Anthea and I am a current student of Southwest Technical and Career Academy and am enrolled in the Video Game Development program. When I had first heard of Southwest first opening, I had no clue what a magnet school was. When I took a tour of the school I knew immediately that I wanted to enroll. Now I m currently learning how to create 3D objects, animate them, and create my own scenes in Adobe Flash. Joshua My full name is Joshua. I like playing baseball, football, and basketball. This is not how I normally look, I usually look much better, like a Greek god. Errab C. I go by EJ, but hey, that won't matter now will it. I enjoy making cartoons in any style from ego raptor to Craig McCracken. I've always wanted to work for Cartoon Network to bring the feel of old cartoons back and make people nostalgic. Sports isn't my forte, but what do you expect from a guy that locks himself in his room working on cartoons? I used to produce EDM music, but I gave up on that and moved on to animating to pursue my childhood dream to become a cartoonist. Sonja B. My name is Sonja B. I was born and raised in Las Vegas. I enjoy playing video games in my spare time which inspired me to program them. I plan to become either a programmer or a 3D modeler in the future. Angel S. My name is Angel S., a student at SWCTA. I am easy to talk to, funny, and outgoing. I was born in California. My goal for the future is to attend and complete a college of my choice and follow my dreams in life. Joshua G. I m Filip. I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am a Video Game Design sophomore at Southwest CTA. I enjoy playing games, sports, and sleeping. Julian P. My name is Julian and am a sophomore at Southwest CTA in Video Game Design. I play Xbox on my spare time at home and also like to play basketball. I am also a Lakers fan and watch WWE wrestling. Anthony P. Hello. I am 15 years old. I was born in Washington, but raised here in Las Vegas. I am in the Video Game Design program at SWCTA. I wanted to join this program in hopes of learning the behind the scenes to amazing games like Battlefield 3. I am a talented musician with 4 years experience. I am an Xbox player and I love football. I hope to become an anesthesiologist in the future. My favorite thing is classic cartoons. I Anthony R. My favorite sport is basketball and I enjoy playing video games in my spare time. I always wanted to be a Video Game designer so that is why I came to this school. Andrew S. I am Andrew S., I am 16 years old and in the Video Game Design Program at Southwest CTA. I was born in Denver. I like spending time with friends and I play volleyball. I never was really interested in this program, but overall it is a great chance to learn new things and gain a sense of creativity.

4 Christopher E. My name is Christopher E. and I am a sophomore here at Southwest CTA. I like to watch anime and I am an otaku (a person obsessed with anime in Japan). Brian D. My name is Brian and I am a sophomore at Southwest CTA. :) I enjoy playing videogames and coming up with ideas. Adam S. I am 15 years old and have been learning about game design since I started attending this school in My favorite things to do are read and play video games. I have been wanting to create video games since I was about 10 years old when I had to do a school project on what I wanted to become when I grew up. As of now I am progressively getting better and better at the artistic and coding aspects of gaming. Although I am better at art than at coding. Chanler B. I am 15 years old I attend Southwest Career and Technical Academy. I like programming video games and playing them. Ryan D. My part in the demo reel was to be the leader of the group. I had made majority of the decisions before it was put into effect. I made sure everyone was on task and gave suggestions and solutions to problems. I always thought that I was a great leader since the start of high school. Out of all the projects within all my classes I was made group leader. I have led all my groups to an A and never allowed people to slack off when doing a project.

I am 15 years old and have been learning about game design since I started attending this school in 2010. My favorite things to do are read and play video games.

5 Saily G. My part in the demo reel was creating any and most of the graphics for the game that were in the video. I love drawing since I was a child and I have always been the imaginative and have loved drawing since I was a kid. Hopefully I will expand and explore art in technology. Nicholas J. My part in the demo reel was to create the code for the games that were shown in the video. I have always been fond of coding and my passion for it has dated back since I was around eight when I played around with my first scripting language. Ever since I ve been expanding my love for game design and exploring new technological horizons. Alexander P. Play games all day, sleep all night, and in between, I skate and hang out with friends.
