1 Vol. 16 December 2015 No. 12 The Chairman opened the meeting and thanked all for attending. He said we d had a successful year and gave a brief description of the year s events. The minutes of the previous meeting had been distributed and they were approved and signed. The Management Committee were elected for a further term, with the exception of John & Joyce Fiddies who, after many years of service, had decided to stand down from the Committee. It was agreed to keep the Mooring Fees and Membership Fee the same as last year. We had changed our accountants to a more local company last year and it was agreed that we would remain with them, being satisfied with their performance. The Leeds & Liverpool Canal marks it s 200th. year next year and a short discussion was held for suggestions as to how the Club would mark that occasion. The problems of cyclists riding at fast speeds and without warning bells was also raised. The Committee agreed it would be discussed at the next Committee meeting. A presentation was made to Joyce and John Fiddies in recognition for all their work over the past twenty plus years and the meeting was then closed and a hotpot supper was enjoyed by all. Club News. 5 Tools Available on Loan There are a number of tools available in the work hut which can be loaned for use at the moorings. Contact any committee member for the key.
