1 Updated: January 2014 Vehicle Rentals Enterprise Rent-a-Car The contract between the University of Saskatchewan and Enterprise-Rent-a-Car is in effect until January 1, Contract Highlights 1. Free pick up and drop off of the university employee at Enterprise locations. 2. Vehicle delivery/pickup fee of $ (Available at Saskatchewan locations) This is being implemented as part of a sustainability initiative to reduce the university s carbon footprint and cover the cost of using a second vehicle for the delivery/pickup service. 3. Rates quoted are the maximum payable and any promotional rates would be made available to the university employees, including subsidiaries for business and personal use. 4. An increased number of fuel efficient and alternate fuel cars are available in the Enterprise car fleet. 5. Vehicles rented for university business will be delivered with a full tank of gas and should be returned with a full tank. If this is not possible, the gas will be charged at the pump price. Reservation Instructions 1. Reservations can be made online at or through Enterprise s Saskatoon reservations center (1-800-RENTACAR). a) Corporate account number for Saskatchewan rentals: Y10675 b) The online reservation will ask for the first three (3) letters of the account name: UNI c) Corporate account number for rentals outside Saskatchewan: NAC When reserving directly through a branch, please advise the Enterprise booking agent that you are with the University of Saskatchewan. Insurance Optional insurance is available at discounted rates: a) Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) of $13.00 per day. Although Enterprise continues to extend the base plate insurance ($200, coverage with a $ deductible with rental originating in Saskatchewan) to the university driver, purchase of the CDW is recommended in situations where: The department prefers to have a zero deductible. Driving off-road to cover wear and tear such as paint chips, which are not covered by CDW. b) Personal Accident Insurance (PAI), which covers accident expenses for up to $100, for the driver and up to $10, for each passenger. It is recommended that this insurance is purchased in situations where the trip includes personal travel. Renting in Saskatchewan: Kilometre Charges: Base rental charges for rentals in Saskatchewan/Manitoba include unlimited daily and weekly mileage, as applicable. All vehicle classes are capped at 3,500 kilometres per month. Any additional kilometres will be charged at the rate of $0.20 per kilometre for all vehicles.
