12 AIBB ECOS- Simple User Manual 1. How to maximize the screen? Step 1: Select view from the Menu bar. Step 2: Click Full Screen. *Using Shortcut: Step 1: Press F11 Step 2: Press Alt + Enter 2. How to view Handy Info? Step 1: Click Show Handy Info icon. Step 2: Select Right to view Market Depth in the right Repeat step 1 to 2 for bottom and pop-up view in different view (i.e. View 1 View 6). Page 1

13 3. How to switch to different panel window view? Step 1: Click the Option tool. Step 2: Click Switch. Step 3: Select which panel window you would like to view. Customisation from the above view can be applied in View 1 View How to customise page layout of the Price feed screen? Step 1: Click the Change View layout button. Step 2: Select the desired layout. 14 5. How to search stock? To Search by Stock Code: Step 1: Point the cursor to the Search Stocks entry field at the upper right corner of the Stock Quotation. Step 2: Type in the Stock Code. Example: 3786 Step 3: Press Enter key or click the Search tool. To Search by Stock Short name: Step 1: Point the cursor to the Search Stocks entry field at the upper right corner. Step 2: Type in the Short Stock name. Example: MAS Step 3: Press Enter key or click the Search tool. To Search by Stock Full name Step 1: Point the cursor to the Search Stocks entry field at the upper right corner Step 2: Type in the Full stock name. Example: MALAYSIAN AIRLINES Step 3: Press Enter key or click the Search tool. 6. How to go back to the home page after making changes to the Stock Quotation view? Step 1: Click the Home icon to go back to the main/home page. 7. How to call out the Order Entry screen? For Buy Order (Option 1): Step 1: Select a stock. Step 2: Right click. Step 3: Select Buy. For Buy Order (Option 2): Step 1: Click Buy button at the top right corner of the Price Feed. * Using Shortcut key: (1) Press + from the keyboard OR, Page 3

15 (2) Press CTRL + B OR, (3) Press F2 For Sell Order (Option 1): Step 1: Select a stock. Step 2: Right click. Step 3: Select Sell. For Sell Order (Option 2): Step 1: Click Sell button at the top right corner of the Price Feed. *Using Shortcut key: (1) Press from the keyboard OR, (2) Press CTRL + S OR, (3) Press F How to send an Order? For Buy Order: Step 1: Call out Order Entry for Buy. Step 2: Select Account. Step 3: Select Stock. Step 4: Choose/ key in the desire quantity. Step 5: Choose/ key in the desire amount. Step 6: Click Send Now. Step 7: Key in valid trading pin/password. Page 4

16 Step 8: Click Confirm in the Order Confirmation screen. *Succesful entry will have Order has been successfully sent message at the bottom of the Order Entry screen. 9. How to enable/ disable the function for prompting order confirmation screen? Step 1: Call out the Order Entry screen. Step 2: Click Options button. Step 3: To show the order confirmation screen, tick Always prompt to confirm order. To disable the order confirmation screen, tick, Never prompt confirmation message. Step 4: Click OK or press Enter in the keyboard. 10. How to Call out Order Status? Step 1: Click order Status button at the right corner of the Price Feed. Page 5

17 11. How to view the Order Status and the Stock Quotation at the same time? For single monitor: Step 1: Set the Price feed to full screen. Step 2: Call out the Order Status screen. Step 3: Arrange the Order Status screen so it occupies half of the Price feed screen. Step 4: In the Order Status screen, click the Pin This Window tool so you can utilise the Price feed, Order Status and the Order Entry simultaneously. Result: (Note: Make sure the pin icon is shaded in amber colour) Click the Order Status button if order status screen has disappeared. For dual monitor: Step 1: Call out the Order Status screen. Step 2: Click the header of the screen. Step 3: Drag the Order Status window to the right screen. Result: Page 6

18 12. How to maximize the Order Status screen? Step 1: Click the Maximize button at the upper right of the screen. Or click the Full screen icon. 13. How to display the Order Properties? Step 1: Select an Order. Step 2: Double click on it to show the Order properties. 14. How to Cancel Order? Step 1: Select a stock in the Order Status. Step 2: Click the Cancel Order icon. Alternate option: Step 1: Select a stock in the Order Status. Step 2: Right click on that stock. Step 3: Select Cancel Order. Step 4: In the Order Status screen, Last Status should be Order cancelled if the order has been cancelled successfully. Page 7

19 15. How to Modify Order? Step 1: Select a stock in the Order Status. Step 2: Click the Modify Order button to view the Modify Order screen. Step 3: In the Modify Order screen, you can change Quantity and Price. Step 4: After modifying order, click OK. Step 5: In the Order Status screen, Last Status should be Order has been modified by Exchange if the order has been modified successfully. 16. How to Lock OR Unlock the order, and order status windows? To lock: Step 1: Click the Lock button at the top left corner of the Stock Quotation screen. To Unlock: Step 1: Click the unlock button at the top left corner of the Stock quotation screen. Step 2: Enter a valid trading pin/password. Step 3: Click OK. Or, use shortcut key: Ctrl + Alt + Space bar to lock and unlock. *Note: This basic manual covers the most basic functions and operations. There are still a lot of exciting features in that you will later find as you explore the system. Page 8
