1 The 15th Annual Northeast Atlantic Sport Psychology Conference Facebook: Twitter: CALL FOR PROGRAMS April 5 & 6, 2013 Tuttleman Learning Center, Temple University The 15 th Annual Northeast Atlantic Sport Psychology (NASP) conference brings together a diverse group of students and professionals for education, discussion, and networking opportunities with others in the exercise and sport psychology community. Students and professionals are invited to share their research or applied practice expertise by submitting program proposals for the 2013 conference. The NASP Conference is committed to providing programs covering a range of topics within the Sport & Exercise Psychology field. These may include, but are not limited to, Health & Exercise Psychology, Performance & Sport Psychology, and Social Psychology. Full program sessions are 75 minutes in length, paper presentations are 15 minutes each, and the poster session is 90 minutes. We welcome poster presentation submissions which have been presented at other conferences. Please submit your completed proposal via our web site (all new coming soon!), e mail (naspconference@gmail.com), or U.S. mail. If you have any additional questions, please contact the programming committee listed below. Proposals must be received by March 1, Presenters may submit multiple presentation proposals; however, for oral presentations a maximum of two proposals per presenter will be accepted. 2 15 th Annual Northeast Atlantic Sport Psychology (NASP) Conference PROGRAM PROPOSAL April 5 & 6, 2013 Tuttleman Learning Center Temple University Philadelphia, PA PROGRAM TITLE: SESSION TYPE (please check one): Paper: An oral presentation of proposed, in progress, or completed research or conceptual paper of presentation quality. (typically 15 minutes.) If your oral presentation cannot be accommodated, would you like to be included in the poster session? Yes No Workshop: An experiential session in which participants learn or improve skills related to the practice of sport psychology. Please include a list of learning objectives for your participants. (1:15) Symposium: Two or more speakers presenting research, systematic reviews, and/or practice guidelines on a single topic. Presenters choose their own discussant and submit as a group. (1:15) Panel Discussion: Three or more experts engaging in a planned discussion about significant and/or controversial issues pertaining to a single topic. Attendee questions and comments are invited throughout the discussion period. Presenters select their own moderator and submit as a group. (1:15) Poster: Large format visual presentation of conceptual, laboratory, field, or applied research. One of the authors must be present for duration of the poster session. (1:30) Roundtable: A small group discussion about a single topic or issue, facilitated by a discussion leader with expertise on the topic.
