3 The world is becoming increasingly connected; the growing number of devices are creating unthinkable amounts of data Data is the new natural resource. 4 Both IT and business processes are being transformed into digital services the cloud 85 percent of new software is now being built for the cloud. 1 The demand for consumability, accessibility and security are driving many businesses to adopt the cloud. As with all new technology, the risks and threats associated with cloud computing are also new.
