PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: By 2012, I had served as a teacher for 22 years in the education department. I served as a post level 1 teacher for 6 years and 7 years as a Head of department. The other 9 years I served as a Principal because when I was appointed as a Deputy Principal at Phehello Primary School, there was no principal which made to act as a principal until I was appointed in that position in 2005 It was at this level that I demonstrated managerial and leadership skills, including refining my organisational, analytical and report-writing skills. Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for time-tabling, staff development, learner discipline, fundraising, examination coordination at primary schools, financial management as principal. Served on various of education committees at school and community levels: school management committees, school governing body, mathematics subject committees, cultural committees, sports committees, school environmental committees. Professional Engagements Attended workshops at departmental and teacher union level on Quality Assurance, Financial Management, Staff Development, Labour Relations and Law, School Governance, Assertiveness, Anti-bias, Developmental Appraisal Systems.
