4 < Preface > Thank you for using the FRAP The mechanism of certificate management used for Windows 7 has been changed from that of earlier Windows consequently, you might encounter problems when you acquire or renew certificates with Windows 7. This document provides information on the operations that are necessary to acquire or renew certificates in a Windows 7environment with Internet Explorer11 (IE11) installed. pg. 1-2

6 1 < Preparation Before Acquiring or Renewing Certificates >

Error Message If you attempt to aquire certificates using Windows 7 without first performing the preparation procedures, an error message may appear as shown in Figure 5. If this appears, certificates can not be acquired, even if you attempt to re-do the procedures.
